    Default Nightstand Mini-Challenge

Do you have a nightstand, or a pair of nightstands, with drawers?

I do. I have a nightstand on my side of the bed, and dh has a nightstand on his side of the bed.

My mini-challenge for Sunday/Monday is for you to clean out the drawers in those nightstands. You may be surprised what you find! I cleaned mine out this afternoon and I know I was surprised!

I'm aways looking for pens in the office, apparently they were all in my nightstand. There were also six ponytail holders, three expired asthma inhalers, three matchbox cars, an exploded box of Uno cards, and assorted toy animals.

So, clean out your nightstand drawers and let us know what you find!

What a great idea Amy!! I changed from a table by our bed to a small bookcase - find it's much easier to keep clean!! Looking forward to seeing what people find!!

I did this back in November and found a whole fistful of bookmarks.....everything from a tiny little piece of paper to legit. markers that I had rec'd from friends.

My drawers weren't too bad but I use it for clothes.

I did this sometime last summer. I had the same nightstand since I was little. I just keep bringing it with me where ever I go.

I found all sorts of interesting stuff, including stuff from elementary school!

I put the nightstand in my walk-in closet to hold socks and underwear and now use a set of small tables. Nothing will be lost for years again hopefully.

Were you in my house, looking at my nightstand?

I have a matching set of dog crates for night stands. One for Cupcake and one for Dumpling. Cupcake's is on DH's side of bed and Dumpling is on mine. I feel much better now, madhen. I thought I was the only one.

Ok! Just finished cleaning my set of night tables.

As of right now, there is only a magnet with a thermometre on it, a pen, mini notepad, lip balm and lotion in the top drawer. Lamp and box of tissues on top.

Before, I had clothes that were borderline of not fitting me stuffed in there along with a few books. Hello Goodwill!

I have 2 night stands with 3 drawers.

Thanks for the motivation and reminder to keep these things clean Amy!

    Rest easy, dean.

I have another one in my livingroom. It is my "end table" for my couch. I threw a towel over the top to "disguise" it.

Oh WOW! A challenge I can ace! Sorry I'm late, but I just found it. (If I haven't gone to bed yet is it still Monday?)

I have one of those tall table/plant stands about 10" square. It has a travel alarm and a tube of hand lotion. I put the lotion back where it belonged.

SUCCESS!! Yea, me! One thing totally cleaned and ordered!

I went through last night nothing to toss but I have about 75 books on the shelves so so I tidied them up and discovered a duplicate to add to my used book store trip
