Lots of inserts today...ug! Okay, well I've always done the first cull on Sundays, so I"ll still do that and get rid of the insert pages I don't intend to keep.

Well, there's something to be said about doing something OUT LOUD in front of other people...I actually EMPTIED my receipt jar. That may not sound like much to you, but it's a BIG jar and i usually just make a dent in it.

Now if I can just keep it up....

I'm running a bit behind. The bill/receipt filing at the beginning of the week bogged down as I had a lot of year-end related organization and filing to do. When I get the year-end stuff complete, (I need to work at this one more day) then I can just work at keeping things current!

My progress on this challenge is rather mixed. My coupons are not in bad shape at all. I do have a little more cutting to do of the coupons my df gave me today and filing of those and yesterday's paper coupons. Laundry I am really doing well. I am not caught up yet, but I have been working on it to one degree or another everyday and progress is showing. Refunds - oh, well - I'm still trying to jump start that.

    Unhappy I'm behind

I've done it all, except the coupons from last week, and now the receipts that I should have done yesterday, and of course, now, the bills from today.

DH is going to be out/about today. If I don't go with him, and my back isn't threatening to go out like it was yesterday, I can maybe catch up?

    We'll see.

    I HATE always being behind!

I need this as a temporary challenge: we have been at my parents' house over Christmas and New Year, and when we came back I remembered we had run out of laundry detergent. It took us another week before we had time to buy this. Reason: shops close at 6 here, and the Belgian government has given all employees vouchers to spend on eco-friendly products. I was determined to spend these vouchers and no money on our new laundry detergent, so I had to do some research into which stores would accept the vouchers (it's a very new deal, not all stores are on the programme or familiar or willing to deal with the vouchers).

Can you imagine the pile of laundry? So this week I need to do one machine every day, hang it, fold it, iron it, put it away, put dd's too small clothes in suitcase for storage.

    Monday + Tuesday: success!

I must announce that MY COUPONS ARE NOW UP TO DATE AS OF YESTERDAY! Thank goodness. My laundry is still slowly progressing and very slowly getting caught up. Refunding - oh well - still trying to jump start.

I was home Monday, but busy, busy, busy! Tuesday DH taught a class and we were gone a lot of the day. Today I went off in the a.m. and came home, got some stuff done, but then went to the dump, and off until just enough time to make dinner when I got home. Tomorrow I have appts at 11 and 3 in the same town an hour from here!!!

How can you do weekly home chores if you're never home??? Ack!

Default After the disaster of not doing this almost at all last week,

I filed receipts some this a.m. Hopefully, I'll file some more before the day's out. My glass jar that I keep the receipts to be filed in is STUFFED again...

    Tuesday - windex
    Wednesday - dust
    Thursday - vacumn, mop
    Friday - errands and plants
    Saturday - wash sheets
    Sunday - REST

    So far - on track.....
