I thought I had posted on this forum about my project. I either didn't or it disappeared!

Anyway..I'm trying to decide whether to declutter the bedroom or declutter the file cabinet. Both are equally needed. Maybe I could do both. I think I'll start out with the bedroom.

Jan: Sort through bill file and consolidate 2009 papers, envelope them and get files set up for 2010.
Have not done anything on this but have not forgotten.
    Will try to start tomorrow.

I would like to join in on all this productivity if that's okay with you guys! I have a LOT of stuff sitting in my dining room that needs to be put in to my freshly painted office/craft room. So that will be my project for the month.

Oops! I posted on the 2009 thread by mistake...I just did my project for January. I cleaned out my sewing room closet. I haven't ventured in there since I moved my sewing room upstairs last spring. It was quite a pile of stuff.

I found some mending at the bottom of the heap. Some of it I can't remember why it's in there. Some of it is garments I want to reconstruct into something more usable. Some half finished projects too. Looking forward to finishing some of them.

Good work, Peanut! Will you pick another January project since you already finished that one?

Geckoace, sounds like you're moving right along too!

I am putting off starting my bedroom. I know the sorting of clothes will make a huge mess and I dread it. I guess I need to do the 15 minutes at a time thing and "never drag out more than you can put away in one hour" that Flylady suggests.

Welcome Lindsay. Glad you joined us here. A great way to get some things done.

You people that have finished are just soooooo organized.

Peanut.....UFO's - as in sewing projects.....or just mending? We should compare UFO's......see who has the most!!

I don't think I'll pick another January project. I have too many other challenges on the go here. One being the sewing challenge!

My closet yielded not only UFOs, but also mending, and clothing to be reconstructed. I think I'll be busy with that sort of thing the rest of this month.

That's great that you've already got your January project done, Peanut!
My January project is to remove an old cupboard in my bathroom, and use what materials I can from that to build a cat scratching post. I've got cupboard down, and I just need to patch the walls, and remove all the nails from the wood. Then I will figure out what I can use to build the scratching post.

I started my project, deep clean master bath, yesterday and am half finish. I cleaned the exhaust fan, tops of light fixture & wall cabinets, cleaned out and wiped down the shelves in the wall cabinets and cleaned behind the toilet. Today I hope to finish and maybe pickout a paint color to repaint.

I have done a little work in the dining room/my office. Most of it is working on refunding and decluttering of which there is a ton to do.

Didn't get a chance to sort through my paperwork today. Too many people stopping by. Hopefully tomorrow.

Where's madhen? I am beginning to get a little worried.
