Yes, I am definately in, too! I have resolved to have a yard sale as soon as the weather allows in spring. Until then, my totals will probably be kind of scant, but after the yard sale I expect my total to really shoot up.

OK, I was motivated. I got rid of 35 pieces of "stuff." I also found a new calendar so that maybe I can keep track. I sure hope to see a difference next year this time, not just maintain the same level of clutterness.

I started the year out right with shredding 2 credit cards and one department store card. Three flings: bada bing, bada boom.

got rid of 10 Christmas decorations I haven't used in forever, a couple of baskets, 2 large bags of fake flowers (why did i ever buy them?!?!?) and one "papasian" chair. Hubby has a pile of socks, and tshirts in a bag for goodwill. I tossed several used up bags.......

Great start, everybody! I'm definitely in - and I like the calendar idea. It would be really satisfying to go back and look at each day and how well you did - or if there were any dry spells Getting a good start on the year, so hopefully I'll make it!

I'm in. This year I really need to up my declutter level. I will start with 2010 and when I reach that I will add another 2010 and then another (I hope). Lot's to get rid of in this house and yard.

I doubt I'll keep up with this, but I'll join the party at least for a while. I think I keep a pretty decluttered house, but I'll probably be shocked.

I have 10 expired stockpile items waiting to be tossed. Do they count? That feels like negligence I shouldn't get any credit for at all.

2010 challenge -- inventory stockpile more often!

It will soon be time to thin the 2009 file. How do you count papers?

Yes, dcompton, expired stockpile items count. Everybody treats paper differently. Partly depends on how much of a pain it is to fling. Shredding is worth more flings.
