Check out car wash sets for men. Most men wash their cars at some point. I got sets once for $5.00. Or if they like to smell nice they have many mens bodywashes that you can get on sale and with a coupon for only a few dollars. If they love coffee you can find out their favorite brand and pair it with a mug or travel mug. Sams and Walmart sell DVD's for $5.00 or less.

Well, my Dad is very conservative and an avid reader...he's the only person I know that reads the newspaper cover-to-cover. Whenever I travel I bring him back newspapers from wherever I go...lol. He likes Rush, Pat Buchanan, Glenn Beck, Fox News...watches O'Reilly, Hannity and that crowd...um, I don't know...just very conservative...reads about the others too though...Is that helpful? Do you have any Civil War ones? Trivia books? Survival ones? Anything like Mother Earth magazine? Um...just thinking...I try to get him books when I can.

I hadn't thought of car wash sets Liane...that's a good idea...wouldn't work for my dh though....I don't think he's ever washed a freaking car in his life...I'm the car washer and waxer (of course I'm the one that has a Mazda Miata though). I'll ask my Mom if my Dad has any stuff for this...if not that would be good for him. My Dad can't use anything but Ivory because of allergies, but the body washes are good for my dh and oldest son. I've picked up some of the ones geared for men with coupons and put them away. Last year I got dh some of his favorite coffee...not frugal though...it's Starbucks' Africa Kitamu and it's $30 for three bags, but it's our all-time favorite so I'll get it again. It's worth it to me and him!

Okay Val. I will take a look. When/if I find some I will PM the titles and authors to you when I look through my books.

Just thought of something else I could make - a denim circle quilt to use as a table runner for my SIL!! Okay, just wanted an excuse to play around with the quilt!!

    Today I made....

6 glass magnets for Nephew #1 with hunting and fishing pictures.

6 glass magnets for Nephew #2 with hockey pictures\

These will go into their stockings. Now to make some for my Mom with the grandkid pictures and my SIL with her boys pictures.

You are welcome MM. I had never made them before and they turned out really well. My nephews will love them as I made sure it was their favorite hockey players and famous fisherman since they were made specifically for each of them.

Loved making them last year!! For one of my friends who is really into seasonal decorating I made holiday magnets - used catalogs for the pictures!!

I am only hoping that DH didn't bury my supplies when he trashed (whoops - ) used my craft room as a storage room!!
