    Default Christmas Gift-A-Month Challenge

OK, I am being a little presumptious here in assuming I can just host my own challenge, so if i can't, please let me know. thanks!

my idea is not to be insane at Christmas this year (2010). I want to complete or purchase AT LEAST one gift each month, so that at Christmas time I will have AT LEAST 12 gifts finished or bought... that leaves a lot more room for fun and a ton less stress. Who wants to join me?

What I plan to do is make a list of the people I will definitely want to make/buy a gift for this year, and as I start/finish it, make a note, that way I am not blindly making or buying stuff that I don't know why I am making it

let us know what you are making/buying - it may inspire a gift for someone on our list!

    happy gifting!
    Shellie

Cool idea Shellie! I'm in definitely. Last year I was done and wrapped by Dec 1st and it was a stress free holiday and I want next year to be the same.

    Thanks!

I'm in! I usually try to pick things up in the days after Christmas when they go on sale and put them away for the next. So far I've got all the Cards we will need and 5 gifts, and even managed to pick up a lighted sleigh for the front yard next year @ 75% off!

I'm in, but I'm going to make it Christmas/Birthday 2010 Challenge for me. My monkeys all have birthdays in February, so I need to get started on that as soon as Christmas is over.

So far, for my dd I have two books and a scratch art scratch pad.

I'm still looking for the latch hook pillows to finish!!

Stopped my WM on Saturday - they had beautiful cloth placemats 75% off that I am going to make into Christmas gift totes - need to go to the other side on Thursday, so I am going to check if they have any left - cost is 62 cents each!!

I'd like to join! I have several items left in the gift closet from last year, but most of those will be birthday gifts. However, I found 3 gifts on sale New Year's Day for Christmas 2010! Its nice to get these (a puzzle & 2 books) & actually know who they're for! I plan to add another item to each of these smallish gifts, but its a start. Plus, I have that necklace to finish this month & would love to work on some craft goodies for Valentine's!
