I may find it funny later, but I was furious. This is the second one, the first I threw out.

I have a dog that I love dearly. I adopted her from the shelter when I volunteered there. She was brought in by animal control skinny, filthy, and found walking down a four lane highway in the middle of no where. Either someone dropped her off along the side of the road, or they had a ton less patience than I do. She was obviously never an inside house dog.

Everyone that wanted to adopt her wanted her for the wrong reasons. She is a red nose pit bull. Possibly she was used to breed, it is obvious that she has had at least one litter of pups and she wasn't spayed. Wild boar hunting is legal in Florida and there were a couple of country boys that came to look at her for hunting. Another 17 year old boy wanted her for a status symbol. He came with his grandmother who seemed very apprehensive about him adopting a pitbull. I agreed with her, and he was a minor. I didn't want her to get into the wrong hands, so I adopted her. I have lots of experience with "bully breeds" for many years. They are only bullies when they are raised in an environment where their instincts take over.

She is a very loving, affectionate lap dog. She just doesn't have any house manners, but she is learning. Unfortunately she is a slow learner.

I dont have many pictures of them, but here is one that my son took one day when I came home exhausted after a 12 hour humane society benefit. I collaped on the couch and they all piled in with me. Sophie (black) 145 lbs, Scrappy (front of couch) 110lbs, Tippy (behind me) 50 lbs

No, I was too angry to think about pictures. I always wish I had later. Next comforter they get I will take pictures since I should find it funny by then too LOL

She ran into the living room when she saw I was upset so I told her to go in her crate. She tried to sneak in a couple of times and ended up under the bed while I was sewing. She had the audacity to jump up on the bed like nothing unusual happened.

She is laying by my feet now sleeping. The other two know to be invisible when Mama is upset

Someday I will have to take pictures of all the animals we have. Right now: african grey, two cats, three dogs, four turtles, lost count of fish, tarantula, some kind of bird eating spider (it doesn't eat birds), and my son has an insect farm that consists of crickets and giant meal worms that he transforms into beetles.

Never a lack of entertainment in this house !!!

Ya know what? I think I like the idea of making a list of 43 things much better than the other way. That one day to finish list just wasn't working for me because I get so many distractactions, so I was gonna drop out. I can do it though this other way. Will write out a "reasonable" list tonight, then come back to post it.

Wish me well!! I really like this challenge and didn't want to quit.

    Theresa

I too like it this way mamamia. If I don't get something done on a certain day, I don't feel guilty. Also some days I just don't feel like doing something I posted. Welcome back!
