yesterday afternoon I found 4 huge welts - hives on my tummy. That evening I had one 8" in diameter on my left side and breast. This morning my right chin was rivaling Jay Leno's. Both doctors today said they were both related and a reaction to meds. Going to take a shower now to cool the hives down - I'm up to 7 huge ones at the last count and am waiting for the steroids to kick in.

Had to fill out a four page form at the new dermatologist's and when they asked what my physical reaction to the medications were after surgery, I just cut out and glued a picture on the form - really think it's too scary to share here!! LOL!!

Great going madhen on getting the free beds!! Love free!!

Oh Maui, that's awful. I hope they go away quickly. I had chronic hives for about three years and there is nothing like the torture of itching.

It is clear that I am not going (nor ever intended) to finish the first part of my list. I will do the packing & cleaning, but there won't be any more project work until next month. I don't know how I'll get to the grocery store, dh is going to be late tomorrow. I'm leaving Friday night to go home for two weeks, I wanted to leave food easily accessible for him to prepare quickly for suppers. Maybe I'll make a middle of the night run to the 24 hr store tomorrow.

MM - Sorry to hear about the hives. I hope they clear up very quickly.

    Yesterday's completed list:
    1. Worked on refunding catch-up and picking up dining room
    2. Moved plant outdoor - I think it needs direct sun and rain for a bit - have to move inside tonight
    3. Did some straightening in the bedroom and laundry room
    4. Finished rearranging new wallets
    5. Finished cutting coupons
    6. sorted and filed coupons
    7. made grocery list
    8. made up food pantry bags
That's all I can think of but I know I'm missing a chore or two; will repost if and when I remember what it was. . . .

Thanks for asking, MM. I'm not 100% yet, but most of the pain now is from the procedure, not the injury. The original pain seems to be mostly under control, and I just have a lot of tenderness in the area they treated. I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Glad to hear the hives are going down!
