    No, the microwave is still disgusting Donna. The crossed off ones are the things I've done. I'm going into work later tomorrow though, so I'll probably get to it tomorrow. I did wash the turntable - not optional after a cup of tomato soup boiled over. But I still have to do the interior.

    I didn't get any of my original list done (except I did read 10 pages); however, I did:

    1) paint my tree trunks to prevent sun-scald;
    2) clean up the dogs' room;
    3) take extra bird cages out to the tack room;
    4) move cushions into the dogs' room for Chewy to use;
    5) wash all the dog blankets;
    6) pull weeds from around all the fruit trees;
    7) prune all my fruit trees;
    8) work on obedience training with all four dogs;
    9) pick up pet supplies.

    So I think I'm good. I'll just move most of today's list to tomorrow.

    Well I've paid the bills I picked up today but still cannot find my pile that I had before the rush to pack up for the tsunami - keep telling myself to be patient, they'll show up. Sometimes I need to pay more attention to what I tell myself!!

    Donna's microwave is no longer disgusting! Hooray!

    Other jobs I did before I came to work today:
    Assembled and tested the new vacuum cleaner
    Vacuumed the living room

    I'm off tomorrow so I'll get more done and post the updated list then.

    I'm removing the eye exam conditional on weather. I saw a sign at Walmart that said walk-ins were welcome. It was raining (better for driving with dilated eyes) so I called to see if the optometrist was there. Turns out walk-ins are not welcome, neither is my insurance. So I made an appointment for next week where I've gone before.

    I LOVE my new vacuum cleaner. It's a Dirt Devil and super light, so easy to use. Still some pain using it, but not as bad as my Hoover. I'll donate that one. It has a twelve amp motor, just like the Hoover and did a great job. Best of all, I got it at Amazon so it was delivered to my door and only cost $40!

    I will cry for a week if Amazon ever goes away.

    Here is what I can remember from Monday that I got done:
    1. mailed bills and political survey
    2. sorted laundry
    3. dried, folded and put away previous day's washing
    4. washed, dried, folded and put away Monday's laundry #1
    5. washed, dried, folded and put away laundry #2
    6. washed, dried, folded and put away laundry #3
    7. washed and dried laundry #4
    8. washed laundry #5
    9. picked up kitchen and family room
    10. stared at drawers, closet and hassock to try to figure out organizational plan for year round clothing
    11. took laundry room rug outside for a good old fashioned beating and left it there for the wind to work on when I was done
    12. cut coupons
    13. I know I am forgetting one or two small chores I did. . . . .

    MM, I think your tiredness and not feeling well got blown over to the east coast. Yesterday both my dh and I woke up not feeling very well and we've had more of the same today. Hopefully it's on it way somewhere else. I'm glad you're feeling a little better.
