I did do some cleaning out in the garage, but I'm not letting myself change my list because I have too much stuff I need to get done and if I'm too flexible with myself it won't happen.

If I give myself an inch, I'll take a mile

I was too engrossed in my audio book and puzzle to post yesterday.

    2. Take apart afghan AGAIN, put yarn in basket, forget the whole thing
    5. Grocery shopping 2
    6. Put away groceries 2
    7. Pick up new glasses
    8. Go by nursery for 8" azalea pot
    9. Apologize to plant I knocked off the shelf and clean up dirt spill when it dries
    10. Re-pot plants
    11. Clean fountain pens
    12. Start new afghan
    13. Puzzle 1: Country and Fruit (very colorful, very easy)
    14. Puzzle 2: A Stroll in the Garden (siamese cat, should be easy)
    15. Puzzle 3: Exquisite Creatures (all beetles, probably very hard)

    18. Cook beans and ham
    19. Vacuum living room
    20. Vacuum bedroom

MM - cleaning the pens. Just plain old fountain pens. Though it is unpatriotic, virtually all cheap Chinese pens. I'm sorry, but if I can spend $100 to the sky's the limit on European ones (I don't even know if there are any American made) or $2-10 for a Chinese one that writes just as well, no contest here. I have quite a few with ink that has been in them too long and I'm not using at present, so they need to be flushed out and put away. I rather doubt I'll get to it this week though.

The initial list is dwindling. I deferred a second grocery shopping trip. I may do it Sunday afternoon, so I replaced those tasks.

    5. Pay car insurance
    6. Return library books
    7. Pick up new glasses
    8. Make shopping list
    11. Clean fountain pens
    17. Cook pork loin
    18. Cook pot roast
    20. Vacuum bedroom
    21. Mop kitchen
    22. Update finished afghan book

    Tonight's playtime:
Audio book (Gone with the Wind - I've never read it or seen the movie)
    Crocheting
Jigsaw puzzle, a landscape, something I rarely do
    Reading Mistborn

The puzzle depends on how well I adjust to these new glasses!

I'm not getting very far today. I did get the bedrooms cleaned, but now I'm sitting outside enjoying the summer weather. I'll finish cleaning tonight.
