I am really not good at this challenge, but I'll keep trying. I am so far behind on housework it's becoming overwhelming, but last week was about a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale. I'm hoping I'll feel better this week and can catch up. So far:
1. Caught up on dishes
Not too impressive, is it? Oh well. Better than nothing and now I can get in the kitchen again. -

I don't know if I should go paint the deck right now or not. The forecast says rain, but I don't see any sign of it.
Realtor just called, told her to come Thursday evening. -

Today was run-around-spend-money day. I am so going to be thrown off this frugal forum! Confession -- the only thing that was necessary was a set of sheets. Black, to pull over my face when my huge east bedroom patio door lights up my world and wakes me up every morning.
5. Returned library books
6. Stopped at Bed Bath and Beyond - no luck at all
7. Walmart - less will power there than usual
8. Hobby Lobby
Yes, I bought more yarn, but had an excuse. I promised one for a gift and she wanted brown (drat! drat! drat!) and I didn't have a bit. I really dislike brown. Of course, I also picked up a few pretty colors, just because they were pretty. I LOVE having yarn around. I think it's my security blanket - it's just hasn't been made yet. Also a book with some beautiful block patterns - but I used my 40% off coupon for that. -

~I hear some frugal in that post, Donna! You're making a gift and you used a coupon. I am the only person who ever has a coupon when I go to Michael's. Most people just throw those fliers in the trash so you are doing better than most! Enjoy your goodies!
Ok, done today:
25.look up MVC hours
26.make grape nuts cereal
27.make yogurt
28.clean off hutch top
29.rewrite/print list
30.30 minutes cleaning -

Thanks for trying, nuisance, but there were some pretties I got too just because I wanted them. I saw a headline yesterday at work "Sit All Day and Die More Quickly." Good. I can spend my money now.
But making the afghan will save a little. I've had really terrific student workers to supervise the last two ro three years and have started giving them Amazon gift cards when they graduate and leave. One of them saw me posting my crochet-along photo yesterday, (right after a co-worker had been given his card) and asked if I would make her an afghan since I give them away anyway. We negotiated for that instead of the card, and the yarn won't cost as much. So I'm ahead there.
9. Inventoried yarn
10. Made swatch cards for new colors - I haven't done this for awhile
11. Reorganized yarn storage in trunk and closet -

MW, you are making progress through an impossible list. I'm impressed with how much you have already done.
I'm wishing you luck with the realtor tomorrow too.
I'm just getting started - I've frittered away a lot of time. So far, only:
12. Activate new CC
As soon as I click "post quick reply" I'm getting up and starting. I am. I am. -
