I decided I am going to make my bestest friend (the one with the great scarf idea!) a scissors protector and sewing stuff keeper and if I have enough time, I found a super cute pin cushion pattern, too!! Hope this link works here:
    http://uptherainbowcreek.blogspot.co...-tutorial.html

The pillow pocket template I downloaded was a little too short/small for the wristlets to easily fit. After I played around with the pattern a little and finally got it the correct size to easily fit a key fob wristlet, I made a thick cardboard template for the pillow pockets (made things go a bit faster). With the cute cardstock I found today, I think they turned out so cute. I haven't crafted in soooo long, I forgot how much I love creating things.

    Still to-do:
    9 wristlets
    15 gift pillow pockets
    1 Packers scarf
    1 Packers tie blanket
    1 high school colors scarf
2 Packers decorated gift bags or packages

I've been knitting some cute necklaces (one cabled, one I-cord type), made the Hello Kitty purse for g-daughter, loads of washcloth/tribble sets. . . will start on the baked goods soon.

Got another 10 pillow pockets made last night. Decided to add another orange/black scarf, another Packers scarf and a scarf to match my DS19 gf's coat to go with her gift card.

I hope the Packers fleece comes today, had to order it online as it was unavailable anywhere locally last weekend.

    So here's my remaining to-do's:
    9 wristlets
    2 Packers scarves
    1 Packers tie blanket
    2 high school colors scarf
    1 berry/black/zebra scarf for DS's gf
2 Packers decorated gift bags or packages
    sewing organizer
    pincushion

Finished 9 wristlets, the berry scarf, and another high school scarf.... when I realized I need a 6" piece of white/black fleece for the other black/orange high school scarf, hmmmm how did I miscalculate? Well I am heading to JoAnn's after work tomorrow and I saw some cute white with black pawprints there so added it to my list for pickup.

When oh when will the Packers fleece arrive? I'm on a roll, c'mon UPS man!!

    So here's my remaining to-do's:
    2 Packers scarves
    1 Packers tie blanket
    1 high school colors scarf
2 Packers decorated gift bags or packages
    sewing organizer
    pincushion

The Packers fleece came today!! I finished the tie blanket for my MIL and a Packers scarf for her, got my own Packers scarf done, and one for my SIL for our gift exchange, and I had enough left over material to complete yet another for the name exchange gift for a co-worker so that was a bonus scarf!

So here's my very short list of remaining to-do's:
    1 high school colors scarf
2 Packers decorated gift bags or packages
    sewing organizer
    pincushion

Have to pick up a 6" section of white fleece with black pawprints tomorrow to finish the high school scarf. The two remaining gifts for my bestie will then be a ton of fun since they are for no particular reason and I'm just going to hunt down as many on-hand materials as I can find and take my time since I still have 25 days to putz around with them

Thanks, I'm happy with them! No link, my friend just told me how to do them....

Cut 3 fleece strips 6" wide
Stack them on top of each other matching edges (they do not have to be perfectly even)
Sew a straight seam down the middle thru all three
Cut off anything ragged (selvedges) from both ends (they don't always match up by length)

Cut to make fringe on either side of the stitching, about finger-width strips, making sure not to cut the seam, I stay about 3/8" away from the seam when clipping down both sides. Again the cuts do not have to be perfect

Hope that helps but let me know if you have any questions.

They're so quick and easy, I think they take less than 20 minutes to make!!

Thanks so much sumacaroni!!! I kind of had an idea how you did them and I was pretty close to be close to being right. These would be great for my nephews in their favorite hockey team colors! Thanks again!
