Madhen - would love to see a picture of squirrels dying from happiness!! Cracks me up!!

I changed my January project to realistically clear off and organize everything on the top of my dresser - dare I admit to the four foot span have two feet of goodies balanced carefully on it. Hang my head in shame. Okay - enough already

So one layer is cleared off and I'll be going through one laundry basket full of goodies. My plan is to get it cleared off by the end of the second game today!!

Starting a list for my "bug out" bag on my iPhone, so I can have it handy when the opportunity arises to pick something up. Right now, I'm working on what I'm calling my "dig in" bag - a collection of supplies for if I get snowed in again. I have approx 20 gallons of tap water bottled up for washing, and I'm working on getting more fresh water for drinking. (I have about 7.5 gallons right now, and I find I use about 1 gallon daily, between me and the critters, so I probably have enough, but I want to have about 20 gallons just in case.) I also need to buy some household candles and a few more boxes of kitchen matches.

Finished all the drawers today in the bedroom. I only have about 1/2 the closet left which I will do tomorrow and then this months project is complete.

Master bedroom done! All dressers and closet is organized.

For February I am going to tackle paperwork for tax season. I will get everything ready and do my taxes. I hate this job.

I feel stagnated. We changed our minds again regarding where we are going to have our clothes for the bedroom swap. At first, I was going to share Moo's close and utilize built in drawers downstairs for my other things. Zac would use the entire closet.

He has decided that doesnt' get him enough room so all of his clothes are going to be placed in manland. I don't care how he does it, but that is his weekend plan.

I am stuck. Until he does his stuff, I can't do anything.

For February, I think I will tackle the China cabinet. It needs to be totally cleaned out, especially the underneath. I'm hoping to fling a few things and organize it way better.

I call it a China cabinet but I guess it's really not. Just that huge thing with glass and drawers that looks pretty in my kitchen.

Got almost the whole kitchen done in January. Just need to get some storage for the family china and get the last of the cookbooks off the floor where they are currently taking up space.

February's challenge for me will be to finish up the kitchen and then to do the living room again. I'm trying to convince DH that the entertainment center we have right now (from IKEA) is just too much and it allows us to store too much crap that we don't need. I'd prefer a tv bench type of "unit". For now, I can live with it, I've just noticed that after the last time I decluttered, it's recluttered with similar crap.

Amazingly enough, I did finish the top of my dresser and am going to attack the rest of our bedroom for February.

I want a bench one as well. I have a large monstrosity that is filled with video tapes, really messy looking, I hate it.

Everyone is doing great! I love to hear of progress. It's so encouraging and then I think "I can do that too!"

My February project will be to keep working on sorting and filing papers. I made great headway in January and I'm encouraged to keep on until the job is complete. I am SO tired of boxes and bags of papers!!

Starting to plan out my February project of emergency supplies. Rather than put everything in here, I started a separate blog category to track my progress.

I looked at your blog this morning. I just love reading how others plan out their projects. It helps me with my planning. Last year I hardly got anything done on my goals and 20 wishes because it was overwhelming. This year I think I've accomplished more in Jan than I did all year last year! Peanut has been a great help to me too.

Peanut is a great asset to the group, I agree.
