Cleaned the kitchen yesterday and again this morning, and did a bit of decluttering in the living room. Need to step up the pace - lots more decluttering where that came from!

More going through papers in the living room, more laundry, dishes, swept floors.

Need to find a good system for dealing with papers, mail, magazines, etc. before they pile up. Any suggestions?

LB the mail/papers etc gets read, trashed, or put in it's proper place daily. I never let it pile up.

Washed the comforter and bed sheets
    1 load of laundry
    vacuumed
    swept kitchen floor
    pulled some weeds
    trash out
made some food for the freezer
    shampoo bottle refilled

LB - think I am in the same position that you are - I need someone to set up files that I will use with a system that works!!

Today we spent 4 hours of intense decluttering of the preschool classroom - no students at summer school and a mouse was spotted - we all worked hard and got a lot done!! And of course there is still more to do!!

I've been doing a little bit of decluttering each morning before work. It's slow going, but it's happening consistently so I'm making progress. I'm also spending a few minutes each day at work decluttering my office of the mountains of papers that have collected on my desk.

I cleaned my sunroom today, washed the floor and wiped down all the furniture. It took me all morning. It was a lot of work, but looks fantastic! I've also been doing some filing, trying to get my desk in order. Once I get all the filing done, I will then start pulling out the old stuff and putting that down the basement. Does this ever end? Just asking...

    This weekend I:

Swept kitchen floors, kept up on dishes, scrubbed bathroom tub, sink, counter, cleaned kitchen stovetop and counters, cleaned and dusted dining table, vacuumed living/dining room, changed out sofa slip cover, did laundry, cleaned up dog poop on backyard rocked area, packed two more small boxes for the move, moved already packed boxes into dog-room closet, moved a filing cabinet out of that closet into living room to make space. Took the Lhasa to the groomers, cleaned up a sick-dog mess, UGH. Um, what else. Oh changed sheets on bed. Um...I think that's it. Its more than I have done in one weekend in a long time, have really been slacking. Its probably less than some of you do in one day, though.

I fell off the wagon on all of my personal goals (home, financial, diet/exercise, etc.) recently. I find it hard to stay motivated sometimes, but at least I'm picking myself up, dusting myself off, and getting started again. This morning I've been cleaning the kitchen and tossing papers, mail and magazines that I no longer need. And conquering Mount Washmore.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I need either more storage space, or less STUFF.

I have been spending 30-40 minutes in the morning working on some of my hotspots -- it's helping a lot! It's also a lot like Christimas because I keep finding things I forgot I had!

Hey! What happened to all of you?! The posts end at September. I was looking at this thread and thinking it would be a good one for a run-in to the Christmas season. Lots needs to be done around here to clean up for winter. DH doesn't like the mess the house is in. He says it's cluttered. I need to get rid of some stuff. Just not sure where to start. I think I'll head over to Organized Home or Flylady for help. I love the Five Minute FlyBys Flylady does. ETA: I just noticed the Five Minute Fly Bys are no longer on her website. At least I can't find them with a search. Going to have to look for my hard copy.

I need this especially at this time of year!
Thanks for bringing it to our attention peanut!
Looking around my living room and thinking a re-arranging is in order and including a place to put the Christmas tree which my dd is already making noises about putting up!
I will check back in later.
Hoping lots more will join us!
    God bless,
    Helen(grammea)

I took the opportunity to pick up my sewing room yet AGAIN! And I've been cleaning up the living room and kitchen a bit. Mostly de-cluttering and putting things where they belong.
