Went from grocery shopping to home and then to the pool for 20 minutes of exercising in the cold, cold, water. I am now going to attack pile #1 in the LR.

Yesterday I knitted for a while and did a load of laundry. Also picked up a little around the house and got all the Christmas decorations and tree down and put away.

Had fun going through 2 piles of papers and treasures yesterday!! While it's not completed, things are definitely more manageable.

Now I'm off to clear a few things from the couch so it will be cleared off when I get home from school - sort of like making your bed everyday - just makes me feel more organized!!

Yesterday I tidied up a bit before a friend came over she had nowhere to sit if I hadn't! Loaded dishwasher and ran the Roomba.

    Today:
ran the roomba at 6am , put away breakky dishes, drove DF to work, paid bills online, going to clear up the bathroom of misc things that made their way in but never back home and will prob rearrange something else in there to help accommodate DF's toiletries.

Not sure what else is going to get done - waking up very early has me worn out by now - 12 noon'ish I'm ready for a long nap!

    So far today:
    1. Cooked breakfast.
    2. Homeschooled the kidlets.
    3. Emptied the dishwasher.
    4. Folded a small load of towels and some whites.
    5. Made lunch.

Still lots of the day to go yet so I'll see what else can be done.

Finished an afghan for a friend of ours.
Washed two loads of dishes after lunch and breakfast.
    Dusted the bedrooms.
    Read for a while.

Was barely home today, and forgot to pick up the item I had planned to pick up to make my son's blind. So didn't really accomplish much on any projects. Maybe this evening I will get out my knitting book and see if I can learn a stitch.

Okay, I sat down with my knitting instruction book and figured out how to purl. Was able to do a sample piece of stockinette stitch and simple ribbing. So, I guess I got a little bit closer to my goal of knitting a pair of mittens.

The book kind of cracks me up. The men modeling their knitted garb are all holding cigarettes. That should give you some idea how current the patterns are
