    Finished the day off with knitting and completing 3 scrubbies. It was nice to have an evening just to relax.

    It is a sad statement when you can't think of anything to post in a thread named the "do ANYTHING" challenge.

    I am in the middle of doing so many somethings right now that my head could be spinning if I wasn't so darned focused on getting this LR cleaned up tonight. Whew!! I am off to work again - and I need to remember to get the clothing out of the dryer too!!

    Feels like a productive day for me yet I don't feel like I've done much but have been on the go non stop.

    Already done:
    * sent the Roomba off to vacuum
    * dishwasher unloaded and started reloading dishwasher (this is beginning to become habit for me AND dad's slowly realizing that anything he washes will just get put into the dishwasher to be run at night so he's not really washing anymore - which is the goal)
    * made DF's coffee & filled his thermos, packed his lunch, took him to the hospital to see the doctor - he is to now stop using the crutches and air boot and told to walk on his broken but healing ankle. This week will NOT be fun...I can just tell
    * dropped DF at work
    * made bed
    * folded laundry
    * took dad and MADE him walk around at Costco - no scooter for him - to get his blood sugars down (he doesn't believe me that a bit of walking helps - this proved my point)

    I don't feel very productive today.
    1. Put cereal in bowls for breakfast (lol).
    2. Homeschooled the kids, but mostly fought with youngest ds while middle ds did his work.
    3. Made lunch for the kids.
    4. Loaded and ran dishwasher.
    5. Cooked supper.
    6. Made a 30 Minute Chocolate Cake (from scratch and my favorite cake!).
    I'm in a major funk so will probably go over to watch a movie with my Mom and my oldest ds (who spent the night with grandparents). Maybe tomorrow will be better...Keep at it ladies!

    Okay, bedsheets changed, dishes done, laundry done, bananas in the dehydrator, and my electric usage this morning was about 40 kW below what it has been averaging, so I'm doing better today than yesterday!

    I have been good, over the last couple of days, in staging the coffee pot so I just have to turn it on the next morning. It is nice to get up and not have to stand in the cold kitchen, measuring out coffee grounds! I just flip the power switch, then go back to my warm bed and play on the computer for ten minutes or so, until the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee wafts into the room!

    It's about 6:45 am and so far today I have:
    drunk 24 ozs of water
    made up my to-do list for today
    checked my email, the weather and news headlines

    Time to cook the breakfast cereal

    Up early today, because I have a meeting to host at work, and for ONCE, I want to get on the road early, so I'm not stressed about getting there on time!! Having my coffee, then I'm heading out.

    Couldn't agree with this more!

    While I was making DF's lunch last night, I set out his travel mug and 1L thermos and prepped the coffee. He looked at me like I had 3 heads b/c he honestly thought I was going to brew him a pot of coffee at 10pm - WTH!? All I do in the am's now (still hammering out the routine of course) is preheat the thermos, flick the coffee pot to ON and start prepping breakky for us.

    By the time breakky's prepped, eaten and kitchen tidied up (as well as the dishwasher unloaded/reloaded) all I do is fill DF's travel mug and thermos then put it by the door for him to pack along with his lunch into his schoolbag and off we go! (I drive him to work)

    This routine has us out the door in about 30 mins from waking up. (of course we shower the night before, prepack bags and have our clothes laid out)
