Last couple of days I've been working on the "Do Nothing - NOT ANYTHING Daily Challenge 2011"

I've been sick and then broke out in hives on Wednesday, so was all drugged up on Benadryl. Determined to get the house cleaned today - got as far as emptying the dishwasher and had to sit down. The place is disgusting, but I'm obviously going to have to do it in small spurts.

Yesterday, I went to work; hosted a meeting and kept everyone from killing each other; ate leftovers; went out and bought groceries; made my bed (hey, that is big for me); cleaned out a desk; washed all my dishes before leaving for work; finally took some "me" time and read for a while!

Did some laundry and breakfast dishes. Vacuumed the LR and hallway and hit the library for some non-fiction reading material. Worked on some knitting and made dinner then did dishes again. Will now relax for the evening and stay warm!

This morning I folded some laundry and went through some paperwork and files from the spare bedroom. DH cleaned it out yesterday (did a GREAT job) and now we are just getting it ready to bring up the day bed and night stand from the basement. It was in a bad cluttered state and he's really good at those big jobs. Unfortunately, he's having a hard time breathing now from all of the dust he stirred up.

Today it's about putting things in its place. I'm working on it slowly but surely.

Okay, yesterday, I was about as active as a chrysalis. It was nasty and cold outside, and I hunkered down and did pretty much nothing that required any exertion. I guess I deserve a sloth day now and again, but it wasn't even that I made a conscious decision to be inert. I just couldn't get myself up and moving, so I sat there and felt guilty all day about sitting there!!

So today, even though it is still cold and nasty out there, I have decided to get up and moving. I have already put on two pairs of sweat pants and two pairs of sweatshirts, so I can go out and brave the cold!

Today I got mattress covers and new pillows for the kids, grasping at anything I can think of to stop the endless cycle of illness around here. Youngest's room was scrubbed today: mattress and boxspring covered, pillow replaced, bedding washed, every surface wiped with hot water and anti-bacterial soap. Will do son's room tomorrow.

Have to get some laundry done tonight so I don't get backlogged with all the extra bedding being washed.

    1. Washed, dried, (and hung to dry certain items) a load of clothes.
    2. Cooked breakfast, lunch, and supper.
    3. Handwashed two of my shirts that I didn't want to put in the washer.
    4. Changed linens on my bed.
    5. Made dh a low-carb, no-bake, chocolate cheesecake.
    6. Unloaded the dishwasher.
    7. Cleaned, dusted, decluttered the master bedroom (This took hours!)

Today: 1. breakfast out with my parents and youngest ds

It was amazing that I got the laundry and dishes done today feeling like a truck ran me over. Darn sinus crap for two days. ugh.

Brought up firewood, washed all the dishes, picked up food for the pups and the ruminants, did a load of wash, finished a knitted washcloth, read, refilled the hummingbird feeder.

Today I washed and dried two loads of laundry (hung the things that needed to be hung).
Did two weeks of lesson plans including copying and printing tons of papers that we'll need.
Made up a chore list for my three sons (they ARE going to start doing something around here)!
Made our bed (I've gotten slack about doing this).
Prepared marinade for meat for supper tomorrow.
    Unloaded dishwasher.
That's it for me so far! Going to relax with the tv and laptop from now til bedtime!

Where is everyone? You can't quit on me now! What have you all been doing?
