I'll try to get the microwave cleaned and laundry put away before bed. No crocheting tonight, so I'll move the square to tomorrow.

    Saturday:
    10. Clean microwave
    16. Fold and put away laundry

    Sunday:
    18. Pineapple square
    20. Cull old and clip new coupons
    21. Make grocery list
    22. Four pattern rows on lapghan
    23. Work - journal links
    24. Cluster-X square

I talked to my friend, and though part of my mind is still muttering at me for being a lazy bum, I'm going to have her come every other weekend to seriously clean the kitchen, bathroom, and floors. I'm considering it a mental health expense, because I can be rid of the black cloud of "I ought to be doing...." hanging over me. I suspect I'm getting "brother in law rates" and I decided to just do this for myself. She's coming in the morning to start.

I won't be cleaning all that much less because the last couple of years I've done far too little anyway, but I won't be fretting about not doing it, and will be happier is a more orderly apartment.

    Me: my friend Mardorina

I used to have a house-cleaner come in every other week and do the whole house. It is worth every penny if you find someone who does a good job.

I finished the last two Saturday tasks, one last night, one this morning. I started and abandoned the piineapple square - didn't like the pattern.

    Sunday:
    18. Pineapple square - abandoned
    20. Cull old and clip new coupons
    21. Make grocery list
    22. Four pattern rows on lapghan
    23. Work - journal links
    24. Cluster-X square
    25. Finish book
    26. Explore LibriVox, free audiobook site

My apartment is being cleaned! WOO-HOO! Thanks for the support for this decision that doesn't feel at all frugal but is making me very happy.

Ok, I've had my tea and I'm ready to start the day. I did the Walmart run yesterday on the way home from work instead of today. Am I glad that's done! It was a very miscellaneous list and I think I hiked 2/3 of the aisles in the store. My main grievance against Walmart is that it's just too dang big!

    23. Make soup
    24. Cluster-X square - Started

    29. Bank -cash check, exchange coin
    30. Cook for work week
    31. Clean up from cook-in
    32. Post office
    33. Cancel dial up internet
    34. Put away shopping
    35. Four-heart square for yellow afghan
    36. Enter receipts, catch up bookkeeping

MM, I use Librivox all the time. I love it, although I have run into a few instances where the reader is not very good.
