    Monday's goals:
    1. Exercise 30 minutes.
    2. Write 500 words.
    3. Read 30 pages.
    4. Transplant seedlings as needed.
    5. Start veggie seeds.
    6. Feed cats.
    7. Medicate dog.
    8. Find one cookbook to donate.
    9. Find two pieces of fabric to donate.
    10. Work on no sew rug.
    11. Bring jigsaw in house.
    12. Sort six tools to go to garage.

    So today was a pretty good day! I forgot to bring the bag of soil inside to thaw so probably won't be able to pot seedlings for a couple days at least. Also didn't get the veggie seeds started because I can't figure out where to put the Aerogarden for them.

    Tuesday's list:

    1. Exercise 30 minutes.
    2. Write 500 words
    3. Clean counter for old island.
    4. Install old island in cabin.
    5. Clean off bead cabinet.
    6. Read 30 pages.
    7. Feed cats.
    8. Medicate dog.
    9. Work on no sew rug.
    10. Hem some new towels.

    Great work, everyone! I got caught up yesterday, then was in training all day today, and didn't post a list yet for today, so I guess I'm behind again!! Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted.

    Today's list (which will have to be done tomorrow, because it is late and I am VERY tired) is:
    1. Wash training clothes to get rid of lead dust;
    2. Clean my pistol;
    3. Figure out why mini-fridge isn't working;
    4. Order flowers for my sister;
    5. Call my mother;
    6. Check all the seed pots for new arrivals;
    7. Write up supply list needed for pets (including cat);
    8. Do an internet search for a water heater timer.

    Ok, I didn't get much done today. However, I started something that is big to me and I've struggled with this throughout the years. Decided this morning, I'm done with this having any sort of control over me and well.. I quit smoking. I've tried many times in the past and failed. I am now going on 14 hours without a cig.

    I'm trying very hard and reminding myself I do not want anything to have this kind of control over me. Which is a different way of thinking than in the past when I tried quitting. So far it's worked but I have to say, this is hard. Very hard. Especially when daughter is having a melt down and I just want to go outside to get away from it. I'm figuring out my triggers today. So far I've been able to get past them. I hope it continues.

    I know. I can not wait for this to pass. I'm totally into this. There is no excuse for just one this time around. I know better. It doesn't work for me. I just don't want anything to have this kind of control over me.. craving wise, financially, health... blah blah blah. I have to quit. I've tried too many times in the past and just gave into that one craving and messed it all up. I really do not want to do that this time.

    So, I'm staying true to the taking care of me part of my list this week. This just came up out of the blue this morning. I thought, why am I doing this and that was it. haven't had one since.

    I can do this.
