I'm not even going to try to get anything much done. It's a wild week!

I did get a patch stitched to a hat for my husband, though. He used to be assistant manager at a grain elevator in southern Minnesota, and when I was sorting a box of clutter in my sewing room, I found a patch from that elevator. It was saved as a souvenir. Monday at GW, I found a perfect $2 ball cap for it to go on, just the right colors. So that's done and it turned out nicer than expected. I love when that happens!

Checking back in. I got all of the big furniture and stuff (like the big yarn tubs) moved back into place. Other than a small bookcase and large chest that lives in the bedroom, I think that part is done. I'm thinking I may wait to move the chest again until I have some help. I can do it, but - ouch! It's heavy and awkward.

Otherwise, just all the odds and end to be put back - it's sort of like being 3/4 done with a move. The hard stuff is done. Now I'm to the all the time consuming stuff.

No predictions for when. I started the Hunger Games trilogy, and it's as good as everyone says. I can't stop listening long enough to do any work!

Is there any place online to buy motivation? I can't find it at Amazon or it would be in my shopping cart. I actually took the day off to finish up the apartment.

    It's 3:00. So far I have:
Slept til noon (didn't plan that)
Had breakfast and crocheted a bit listening the next audiobook CD
Washed part of the accumulated dishes
    Answered some email
Checked in here with a cup of tea.

I've got to get up when I finish the tea and get it in gear, or I have wasted a day of leave. At least for the purpose intended!

Sometimes you just have to take a day just to do what you want instead of what you need to do. Sleeping till noon probably was more important than you think.

Don't feel bad. I only got part of my mountain of dishes done, too. They've been accumulating since Tuesday when I did batch cooking for my mom. I should have them caught up tomorrow, I hope. It was a crazy week for me and I'm not sorry it's over.

Thanks for the sympathy SD. Actually, noon wasn't dreadful, since I usually get up around 10:30. But it just sounds so late. I barely begin and the afternoon's half gone!

I did the the big chest moved into place and the last bookcase, but really haven't done more towards putting the odds and ends away. But I can do that little by little.

I think I'll just call it quits and read the rest of the night. Tomorrow's another day.
