Piney - that's an ambitious list, but it always feels so good to get extraneous stuff moved out.

SD: You are officially excused from handwork. It is terribly hard to do creative writing under the gun like that. It's easy enough to churn out dissertations or policy manuals or such (my experience), but creative writing is different. At least you have some old base work to build on - that should help. People who don't write have no idea what hard work can be.

I finished up all my Sunday list, and the Monday one I didn't post. I want credit for Monday, so what I did - numbering consecultively through my week:

    8. JoAnn's (row counter)
    9. Hobby Lobby (nothing - how did that happen?)
    10. Michael's (finally found a skein of yarn that will work with a project)
    11. Office Depot - picked up some needed (ok, wanted) office supplies

    Today:

    12. Catch up on dishes - in progress
    13. Inventory ink
    14. Reorganize, inventory yarn
    15. Clean off computer area
    16. Straighten workroom, declutter work table
    17. Clean salad veggies, take out meat to thaw
    18. Cook chicken
    19. Groom plants
    20. Walmart - a few groceries
    21. Fill meds containers
    22. Take out trash

    I'm doing okay, I guess.

    Monday's list:

    1. Water garden.
    2. Shuffle stuff to make more room in office.
    3. Hang up drape to keep sun off office door.
    4. Close off steps on office deck.
    5. Move writing files from diskettes to flash drives.
    6. Read thirty pages.

    Tuesday's list:
    1. Pick pea pods.
    2. Try new WW recipe using pea pods.
    3. Measure space for new garden area.
    4. Frost cake.

Donna, you're so right about people who don't write, or do cross stitch, or sew, or do most anything creative not realizing how much work it is. Which is why I've laughed in the faces of so many people who think they should be able to buy $500 worth of beadwork for $60. (Someone actually made that offer to me once. ROFL!) Some days I just want to slap the cluelessness out of them, but of course society frowns on that. Writing is work, for sure, and thank you for saying that. Some days it's fun work. More often, it's painful and frustrating work. Oh, well, hardly anyone's job is fun all the time.

I missed yesterday. I did get Tuesday's list done though.

Today I set up my new files for the latest revision of my novel, then revised the first three chapters to fit the new story ideas I wanted to implement. (It's great to be queen!) Writing my novel is now my #2 priority.

Now I'm going into the house to deal with my #1 priority, eating right. I have salad to prep!

And that will complete my pyramid list for today!

    Friday's list:

    1. Write Chapter Four!
