    Thanks for having me!!

I think I'm ready. I laid in bed last night with pen and paper and mentally went through each room and noted everything that needed to be done. It's a long one but the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time and I'm hungry!

My routine is SO messed up at this point. My sleep schedule is completely out of whack, I'm staying up later, sleeping in later, then find myself running late in the morning and taking shortcuts. I'm so overwhelmed with everything that needs to get done I find myself walking in circles most days and nothing ends up getting done. So, I'm actually going to start each and every day with my usual daily routine until I get in the groove again. I'll fill in the middle of the day with what I want to accomplish each day.

    Here Goes:

    Daily Routine
    Wake before 7am
    Shower
    Shave (M/W/F/S)
    Wash Hair
    Floss

    Make Bed
    Tidy up as needed

    Garden Walkthrough
    Start Seedlings as needed
    Repot/Garden Set Seedlings as needed

    Put away dinner dishes
    Breakfast
    Vitamins
    Wash Dishes/Wipe Counter
    Make Ice as needed
    Light Candles

    Pool Pump 9am-12pm (M/W/F/S/S)

Talking Heads off at Noon – Music On (M-F)

    Assigned Chores For the Day*

    Make Dinner
    Clean up Kitchen
    Update Weather History for Garden
    Emails and Misc.
    To Bed before 10:30pm

    *Assigned Chores for the day:
    Update Budget
    Pay Bills
    Mail H/O Insurance Documents
    Call Sue about H/O Insurance
Go through Misc. Folder and find a spot for each and every piece of paper
    Visit Dad in Rehab

Anything over and above this will be a BONUS!

I'll update at the end of the day.

Clean off side area of couch
    Craft

MM - hope you are feeling better soon. I missed what happened but saw a few days back where you went to the doctor. Hope you are feeling better soon! And it looks like you accomplished quite a bit for someone who's supposed to be on bed rest! Just make sure you don't over do it!

    My Accomplishments for the day:

All Daily Routine Chores done except...

Emails and Misc. - In Progress
To Bed before 10:30pm - TBD

    *Assigned Chores for the day:
    Update Budget - Done
    Pay Bills - Done
Mail H/O Insurance Documents - Done
Call Sue about H/O Insurance - Done
Go through Misc. Folder and find a spot for each and every piece of paper - Done
Visit Dad in Rehab - NOT DONE

I managed to get some Bonus Chores!

    Bonus Chores Today:
Shredded four blocks of cheese that have been in the fridge for over a week and got them in the freezer

Did dad's banking, paid bills and balanced his checkbook

The reason we didn't visit dad tonight was because we became first time Grandparents!!! DH's daughter out of state had the first Grandbaby. Baby Boy Maddox. Phones and emails have been lit up all afternoon. Dad understands so we'll visit him tomorrow.

Good going MM! Just be sure not to push it!

Just a quick update...getting to bed before 10:30pm = FAIL!

But, it was a special occassion, cocktails were in order and there is a two hour time difference between us and the rest of the family. Phone calls have ended, all emails, pictures, etc., for the day have been sent and received and now I'm heading for the kitchen to put away what's left of our late dinner then take a shower and get to bed. Call it 11:45pm.

Hoping I can drag my behind out of bed before 7am, lol!

Well, my Dutch oven demo at the state park is over and it went well. The rain held off, the park had set up lights and provided a genset to light the pavilion, and everyone loved the food. Almost everyone who was there came up to me afterward to thank me. I even got a big round of applause at the end and lots of cheering! Always nice to get positive feedback like that. So I hope I've sown some seeds and more people will take up the hobby. One woman drove three hours to attend. Amazing!

We had about thirty people attend, which is a great turnout. We talked to the ranger beforehand and she wasn't sure anyone was going to show up because there weren't many campers in the park. We talked to her after and she said a lot of people had bought day passes and come from outside the park just for the demo.

Now my back is re-injured, my feet hurt, and I'm exhausted, but it's all good. I'll rest up tomorrow and clean up all my ovens and dishes from the demo in between relaxing.

It was fun but I'm glad it's over.

I am so glad that your demo was such a success SD - I was going to ask for one of your handouts if you had any left? Take care my friend - you deserve a rest!!

MADH - I think that you have a great reason to miss your bedtime!! Just enjoy your rest tonight.

I finally feel better - thanks goodness - hate to use up my sick days, but that's what they are for!!

I am facing a busy day tomorrow and need to make a list so I don't miss anything!!

    1. Bring home lunch
    2. Bring blood work papers
    3. Blood test after school
    4. 4:30 meet with accountant
    5. Pack tags for swap
    6. Mail tags
    7. 5:30 - Kim's party
    8. Send $30 donation
    9. Get MO for $75 and send

That's enough for my day - what do you have planned for yours?

Thanks, MM. The file is in my office and I'm not, and won't be today, but I'll try to send it in the next few days.

Still moving like a rusty bolt, but not giving up.

    Yesterday's list:
    1. Write up menu for retirement party
    2. Do load of laundry
    3. Iron dress clothes
    4. Clean my pistol
    5. Drop off dry cleaning
    6. Take box of snacks my sister left at my house into work
    Today's list:
    1. Write justification for reducing sentence recommendation
    2. Draft outline for briefing paper
    3. Call about coordinating trip to LA next week
    4. Clean parakeets' cage
I ended up wriiting another report that I was going to save for later, so I wasn't QUITE as worthless as I appear from this list!

My list for tomorrow depends on how long I'm stuck in training. If I get out early enough, then it will be:
    1. Set up meeting with northern Cal contact
    2. Call southern Cal contact
and as much of the last two days' worth of stuff that I haven't done yet.

Yesterday was a little slow going for me but I wasn't totally worthless.

    Researched gardening book #1
    Researched gardening book #2
Researched alternative to AARP for DH
    Washed bedding
    Washed towels
    Washed my clothes
    Tidied up
    Visited Dad

Today and this weekend are going to be very will-nilly. DH accidentally took BOTH sets of keys to work this morning so I can't grocery shop or run errands. It's also time to start more seedlings, pot up some smaller ones that are ready, garden set othes that are ready and I found a great sale on B/S Chicken Breast. I'll be picking up 26+ pounds tomorrow and plan on canning it all this weekend. Monday I should have a clean slate and be ready to start working on my list in a more methodical manner.
