It looked like rain, so no cooking in the DOs and no pics taken, either. Maybe tomorrow.

I did get the capelet done to the point it's ready for its close-up. It won't take long to finish after that. I'm not sure now if it's going to be big enough. It looks like I'll have plenty of yarn to finish it and make some matching mitts, if I can figure out how to make a matching pattern. A new adventure for me, since I've never made up a pattern from scratch before. But I'm going to lift a design element from the capelet, so how hard can it be?

    Sunday's list:
1.Try again to cook with DOs and take pics.
    2. Knit on caps for troops.
    3. Add hook and loop tape to zipper bag and inside of new knitting bag.

Couldn't find one recipe for orange chicken wings, but found a decent sub on the internet, so I'm calling it a win. Three for three today!

The idea behind this makes a lot of sense. My lists are frequently so long that I almost never finish them and then I stress about what I didn't get done. This last week of Sept. is going to be SUPER hectic and I can use a small focus to feel like I've accomplished something.

    For today 9/25
    ~ make sauce
~ go through something (old papers, bill basket, cabinet, something)
~ put in either 30 minutes towards work or excersize

Okay, today I have ONE project, but I'm giving myself three points for it if I accomplish it, because it is to get all of last year's firewood moved to its staging area for this year. It is about half a cord, and I'm moving it piece by piece, so it will probably take me all day to get this one thing done.

It took all day, but the firewood is all moved and stacked, ready for use this winter. The staging area is clear, except for a few logs that need to be split, and some little stuff that I need to gather up for kindling, and ready for this season's wood-cutting yields!

I couldn't cook again today, so no DO food and no pics.

I finished a cap, worked on a mitt so it'll be ready for its close-up, worked on a second cap, started a knitted dishcloth but realized I didn't know what tbl meant, and put some stuff in a box for GW.

I didn't do any sewing on the latest knitting bag, but I did look it over and decided not to sew anything in it. It's lined with that thin plastic that likes to rip easily, so I've decided to use it as is and I think I'll like it just fine. I cleaned the price sticker goo off the small bag for that bag, and also off another little bag for another knitting bag, and called that good enough instead of sewing.
