Didn't do much today again but knit. I'm closing in on the worst of my husband's sweater, so I'm really focused. We were supposed to get our camper winterized today and do some DO cooking so I could take pics for an article, but the weather didn't cooperate. I hope tomorrow is better.

The wind is blowing hard enough to send us to Oz, so no outdoor cooking again today, and no camper winterizing either. Hope we get a decent day soon.

So I knitted instead and got all but two inches done on the sweater back. Yea! Maybe I'll get that project done by Christmas.

I also replaced a light switch on the living room fan/light, so that's done finally. We've been having trouble with it for several years. Why does it take so long to do a repair that takes a few minutes?

And I made a great Crock-Pot stew for supper. Just the thing on a cold windy day.

I washed a boatload of dishes and cleaned the kitchen sinks.

    Medicated the dog.

Taste-tested a new sugar cookie recipe my husband made. (Someone had to do it, right?)

Moved the couch in search of a missing crochet hook and knitting needle. Found the hook but not the needle, and also found forty-eleven cat toys, which made the ginger cat very happy.

Finished the back and right front of sweater. My husband tried it on and it looks like it'll be perfect! It's going to be very nice, I think. Can't wait to start the sleeves.

Still didn't find the knitting needle. Not happy about that, since it's part of a set of interchangeables I just got. I just hope I find it before it gets broken.

Finished the evil time-sucking Jack Reacher novel, so will now go back to the evil time-sucking John Sandford novel.

    Exercised thirty minutes.

Got the beans soaking for soup tomorrow and dug the ham bone out of the freezer for same.

    Made buns.

    Tended Aerogardens.

    Up for tomorrow:

    Make bean soup in Crock-Pot.

Search for knitting needle out in the woods where I took pictures. Fun, fun.

    Exercise.

    Read thirty pages.

Knit left front of sweater and join shoulder seams.

    Finish mitt for Mom.

Start second mitt for Mom before I forget how I made the first one.

Clean out furnace ducts and furnace filter and start furnace before I freeze to death.

Got a few things done today:

I made my best bean soup ever! Tasty right out of the pot, and perfect after I added a bit of catsup and some Tabasco to my bowl. Yum!

I searched the woods in the snow for my missing knitting needle, then came in the house and tore the couch apart, moved it, and found nothing but more cat toys. So I looked in the case again on the off chance I overlooked it or something. And there it was. Right where it belonged. No wonder I was so confused. It's a relief to have it found, at any rate.

No exercise, unless tramping around in the woods and cussing count.

    I did do some reading.

Got the sweater body done too, and sewed the shoulder seams.

I finished Mom's mitt and started the second one. Too bad I forgot to remember how I made the first one, so this could get interesting. OTOH, are the designs knitted into a pair of mitts really required to match?

I didn't get the heating system cleaned out yet, but it was fifty-five degrees in the house today, so who needs heat?

Tomorrow I'll probably spend most of the day knitting the second mitt and maybe working on a cap or two.
