I have to join this. I really need to spruce up the place before Christmas.
We usually have a birthday party in oct which forces us to really get the outdoor maintenance in check but we didn't so we are a little behind in our general yearly sprucing. I've started a list of 20 things to do.

Yesterday I was really lazy, but I did manage to order five gifts. Today I plan to steam clean the living room rugs again - just did this last month but somehow mud got tracked in when the grands visited on Thanksgiving. I'll put up my Christmas cross stitch if I can find it.

    So far today

~Did a bit of straightening in the butler's pantry
~Got most of the dry sink in the kitchen decluttered
~Walked around after DS2 and picked up his stuff. But I didn't put it away this time. I just opened his door and threw it in. Mean Mom.
    ~Emptied the fridge
    ~Swiffered half the house
~Did 2 minutes of decluttering of the bookshelf in the living room.
~Straightened the top of the bookshelf, and added first Christmas card to the top
~Did five, 5 minute walk around the house to pick up stuff and put it away/throw away.
~Messaged friend about Christmas day plans
~Cleaned off the top of the dryer

Be back later tonight to add on.

Sorted all the gifts and ordered all but the last 2 which i will pick up tomorrow. Got organized for the rest of my crafting. Generally straightened up the basement (my project space)
Looked through the christmas decor to make a plan and put some more in the goodwill box.
Pulled all of my nice glassware out, had put it away terribly so somethings were broken, pulled out a few incomplete sets, why am i holding on to these?? Set aside some packing materials from gifts to use in packing it back up.

Bought the high heat paint for the second coat on the fire pit thingy. (bought secondhand for dh who has been wanting one for years)

Ordered the some photos to fill the frames that have been hanging empty on the wall for years LOL

Addressed all my Christmas cards today and brought the fake tree "trunk" (i.e, metal pole) downstairs.
