Spirit Deer - I hope the sweater you are going to frog isn't the one you've been working on!

I was going to carry over my list, but my ambition is shrinking. Until I start back to work on Wednesday, I'll just do a what I did today list. I'm on vacation. No more enforced To Do's.

    So today:

Finished crocheting lapghan - ends left to weave in
    Sorted yarn leftovers by brand
Work on yarn inventory data base
Made a list of yarns without sample swatches
Rolled a few partial skeins into balls
Decluttered around the apartment, but not much
Began collecting on cart things that go somewhere else

I'll put away the things on the cart tomorrow. At least they are contained for now.

Later tonight or tomorrow I may start culling patterns. I have way too many. They were treasures when I collected them, but have to admit that they are mostly clutter at this point.

The half sweater I have left to frog is one of two cotton ones I picked up at GW. I want to make a couple summer tops for myself, and the $2 I paid for each of them seemed like the cheapest way to get the yarn for that. The one I'm frogging now is a pain because it doesn't want to rip very easily, but it's coming along.

I need to go through patterns, too. Mostly I need to get rid of craft sewing patterns, I think. Stuff like Cabbage Patch doll clothes patterns from the 1980's. I thought I'd have grandkids to sew that kind of stuff for, but it doesn't look like that'll work out.

    Sunday - not too much.

    Started a new afghan
    Finished the decluttering
    Finished arranging plants, small tables
    Hung pictures
Listened to hours of Galsworthy's Forsythe Saga

Ongoing: Thinking ugly thoughts about my upstairs neighbors, who are having a party with all the guests doing the Bunny Hop in army boots, apparently. But this is the last weekend night off work until Christmas, which is a blessing!

Been there, done that, dcompton, with noisy neighbors. Mine were downstairs, but were "aspiring singers", and thought that gave them license to keep their stereo cranked all day.
