Yes, we are thrilled to have sold this house and the timing's perfect. Thanks everyone -- it has been a long and often stressful ride :-)

I went rummaging in my laundry closet and found a can of oops paint that nearly matches our existing pale blue bedroom paint for the bedroom, and will get another gallon to match for the master bath. Here's pics of these rooms to be painted first (with former owners' stuff in them). DH and I have deemed the bedroom's existing paint color "Wet Sidewalk," and the bathroom "Electric Swimming Pool." LOL

Wow, MyMel, that looks like a beautiful house so far! Are you in it now? Or you close tomorrow? I'm losing track!

It did seem like the timing was perfect. You shouldn't have to make any double payments, or at least not many.

Making great progress on the paperwork but have not been working on the bins at all!

Thanks SD and DC! We're scheduled to close today and will get keys this afternoon if all goes to plan. We plan to paint and move over gradually and anticipate only needing help to move the refrigerator and the bedroom furniture.

Oooooo, that's the most exciting part, getting the keys! That's when I always felt a house was really ours, and the fun stuff could begin.

Both projects for March are done. But bear in mind these are " little" tasks that just never seem to get done around here. This is a great challenge to get me motivated to actually finish them!
Now to plan what to shoot for in April.

Finally finished my Feb project: the living room. We got the picture framed and hung. I'm not the best at interior decorating, so we were happy just to have the bottoms of the frames on an even line!!!! LOL!

    Will try to attach pics....

It's rained all week so far, but the forecast shows sunshine for the weekend. I plan to prime the bedroom Saturday.

Took a 2-day break from the 'office' while dh was out of town to thoroughly clean and somewhat organize our bedroom and bathroom. They really needed it and they look so much better now!
Now it is back to the 'office.' I am making progress albeit slowly.

Working on my kitchen today. Was in to do dishes, rearrange and clean countertops, corralled some electric cords with twist ties, wiped down canisters and refilled them, and swept the floor. Looks loads better. Really want to mop the floor, but that would not be good for my back.

Woo hoo! Finished two totes yesterday....almost finished with paperwork as well. Just need to punch holes in one pile and it them to the binder. Then two more totes by Saturday and I will have met my goal for the month!

    Way to go DC!

Today I am back in the kitchen. I have a list of things to do. I am going to start with appliances. They haven't been cleaned in a long time. If I have any energy after that, I will start in deep cleaning drawers. The silverware needs to be polished for Easter, so maybe I'll start by getting that going and cleaning the drawer I keep it in. We use our silverware all the time, so I keep it in the kitchen drawer instead of a silverware chest. Time to count it and see if I'm missing anything!

    Congrats, ephofma, peanut, and Debbie-cat!

My SIL and MIL visited us Sunday, and between my SIL and I, we got 2 coats of primer on the bedroom walls and one on the bathroom! I plan to paint the bedroom this weekend if the weather holds.
