Can't wait to see pics, MyMel! I bet you can't wait to get it done! You're going to have fun customizing the new digs.

WTG peanut and Mymel! Hope the weather holds out for you Mymel.

Finshed another tote and all the paperwork. So only one more tote to do (which will be done tomorrow).

For April I will be finished 4 totes and I want to move in two cabinets for the food stockpile. I want to then organize and write up a complete inventory. This is perfect timing as we are just using up alot of the homemade canned items and with the gardening season starting soon, the cabinets will be ready for a new canning season!

My March goal was blown to smithereens. I can only hope to try and get the basement cleaned in bits and pieces before yard sale season. Besides that, I need to place a goal for April. That one is to make a wall hanging of my antique wooden cheese boxes and place my antique doll collection in them. Each cheese box is big enough to house one doll from my childhood collection. Honestly, I don't think that will take much time, but I'm known to be wildly optimistic about how long a project really takes.....

I need to reset some goals. I sure hope April is better than March was. I don't know where the first 25% of this year has gone. Wasn't New Year's just last week?

I guess my goal this month should be to sort eight boxes of clutter, two per week. That would help a little.

DC, love your blog! Love the pic of your doggy. I didn't realize your place was an old junkyard. That explains a lot! Sounds like you're really making progress on the organizing front.

Hubby did a little project this month that I am very proud of. He made a coffee table for our basement family room. The top is a gate from my Grandpa's barn, complete with nails and hinges. The legs are from posts that my dad had on his farm. Our son at some point in the past had carved his name into one of the posts. And then, of course, Hubby crafted it. So that is 4 generations represented in that table.

Haven't checked in for a while, but great work everyone! My main goal has been my basement. I did spend some time down there, and I want to spend some time down there today. But last weekend I cleaned out and organized my linen closet, my front hall closet, the dry sink in my kitchen, the cupboard over the fridge and the cupboard over the stove. Whew, it didn't take as long as it sounds, but boy does it feel good to get it all done! I reorganized, moved stuff around, put my stockpile in my drysink and not in all three cupboards. Definitely needed it and looks so much better! Got some stuff around for the garage sale, put some out for SA and pitched a whole garbage bag full of stained items. This afternoon I need to spend at least 30 minutes down my basement. I want to get it all cleaned out in the next 3 weeks or so. Hmmm, that's going to take lots of work!

Thanks DC -- it is a little larger than our existing bedroom. I may even manage to get a chair in there for a sitting/reading area, not sure.

WTG tervs and fHg! And DC, you are making crazy progress with those totes!

I am walking by the worn and tattered chair by the dumpster...solid wood arms and legs...looks like oak...totally destroyed upholstery and looks like a hay stuffing sticking out... Yep, walking by... I have enough to do...

Gotta think of an April project... Whatever it is has to be free or next to it.

April's goal will be to paint the master bath and get most boxes unpacked. The closing date on our existing home is 4/23 and I hope to be out well before that.

Aprils Goal.......Bathroom scrubbed down and window sills painted in there.
Second April Goal - paint door and hang border in laundry room
Third April Goal - get water barrell hooked up before planting season hits here!
