    Default My Personal Organizational Challenge

Okay, enough is enough. Every time I post my to do list for the day here, I always post, clean off computer desk. And, the truth is, I always PLAN to do it, but it just never gets done completely. I need to CLEAN OUT. Not just neaten up, but CLEAN IT OUT! Stuff needs to be filed, stuff needs to be tossed, stuff needs to be given a home. I am challenging myself to clean this desk up by next Saturday. If I can find the digital camera in the mess, I will take a picture of it now, before cleaning and after, so I'm held accountable for my progress. If anyone has a particular problem area and they'd like to join me, please feel free, otherwise, I'm in it alone, but I'm in it for the long haul!

I just did something like this not too long ago and it was very liberating.I don't have the clutter any more but wanted to cheer you on. You sound very determined.
    Go Amy!!!

Good for you!! My problem area is currently the car-2 car seats, holiday junk, tandem stroller, briefcase, diaperbag, plus junk junk and more junk. I took control last night and had dh bring everything that wasn't strapped down in and put it in my dining room, now I have to deal with all of it today.

My problem is the holiday junk. My laundry room is gift basket central and is so cluttered. My back porch is Santa central and is just as cluttered. The closets are full of unwrapped presents and wrapping paper. Ugh! I can't wait until it is all over.

I wish I could get organized too. It seems like it's so hard to do, when you come home from working all day. I do get lots done on my 2 days off. But it seems to go down hill when I work or am on 12 hours at work. It seems like NO ONE HELP here, but me! All they do is complain about it. If I ever get it all done, they BETTER NEVER mess it up oe else!

Okay, I'm working on it. A little bit each day. When I started the camera was in dd's room and she was napping and I wasn't about to mess with that, so there is no before picture, but trust me...it would have made your stomach hurt. It's getting better bit by bit!

    You go Amy!!

I need to get in the boy's rooms and clean them out! I can't even walk in DS#1's room right now. Where is the floor?? No telling what I will find. I told him to leave it that way, cause I am going to clean it my way. Trash bag in hand and toss, toss, toss!!! No need to have it, if they can't keep it picked up.

well I have lots of stuff gone, now I just need to reorganize whats here.
It reminds me of my pc defrag, lots of empty space that should have items in it, but they are all spread out in chaos instead!

My horror area is my bedroom. I keep the clutter in the kids rooms under control -- but my room is a disaster area. Not at all a relaxing place to be. I am going to work on it this next week -- I want to start the new year off right!
