Yesterday, I also managed to get the kitchen picked up, dishwasher loaded, unloaded and run and most of the coupons cut.

We have been so busy the past several months (like most everybody else) that I have fallen really behind on everything. After this weekend, with one or two exceptions, things should slow down a little and I would like to get at least somewhat caught up. I thought I might try something that is kind of like an extension of what we are doing here. I would like to try to do things in 'waves.' I could list 3 things and when they are concluded I could come back, make a note of it and then set up another wave. Hopefully, I will be able to do 2-3 'waves' a day. I also suffer from menapause-related depression, so some days are better than others. If this is an inappropriate place for this, please let me know and I will change it to the correct place. Thanks for listening and tolerating. Here is my first three:

    1. Wash a load of hand-wash only clothes
    2. Hang those clothes on the drying rack
    3. Put up dry cleaning batch 1

Well, lets see how this goes!

Chores #1, #2 and #3 are done. On to the next 3:

    1. Finish sorting laundry
    2. Wash a load of bleach whites
    3. Hang up dry cleaning load #2

The second batch of chores 1, 2 and 3 are done. Actually, the bleach whites are in the washing machine still; but, at least they are in there. On to try for another 3:

    1. Put up dry cleaning #3
    2. Fold and put away the load of socks in the dryer
    3. Walk at least 5 minutes around the cul-de-sac we live on

Youngest dd and I went through the drive thru at Taco Bell and sat in the parking lot and ate lunch together in the car. She, as usual, helped make me feel a little better. Also, the weather outside is overcast and rather dreary. That always helps me feel a little better as well. I know most people would prefer sunshine. I am the opposite. The brighter the day the closer I get to a migraine - mini or full-blown. It is also slightly cooler and a little breazy outside and this is also good for me. It helps to combat my internal furnace which tends to stay in blast mode.

I sure do understand oheoh's momma. You should take it easy and take care of yourself.

Thank you madhen for noticing and saying so. I really appreciate it.

The previous 3 posted are done. Now on to try conquering the next 3. As the day moves on my energy levels begin to dwindle even lower than they were and I now have a wee bit of a headache as well that I just took advil for.

    The next three:
    1. put away dry cleaning #4
    2. write at least 1 of the 4 checks I need to write
    3. get the white clothes drying in the dryer

Oh man I just hate it when I do something wrong after writing almost an entire post and that post gets eaten and I don't even know what I did. I'm going to try again. Got chores 1, 2 and 3 done. Also put together dinner plates for dh and I. They are mostly leftovers from meals of the last 4-5 days. I am really trying not to waste anything - especially food. No telling what time dh will get home as it is tax season. My next three chores are:
    1. put away final dry cleaning batch (#5)
    2. do a refund
    3. put a load of colors (red group) that are 'play' clothes and night clothes in the washer

Chores 1, 2 and 3 are done. All dry cleaning now up to date. Thank goodness. It has sure helped having a stay at home day - I don't get many of them even though I am a homemaker. The next 3 chores are:

    1. Put weekly meds together for dh and I
    2. Prep for Publix run tomorrow and possible Walgreens trip too
    3. Sort and file all grocery coupons

This is either my last chore list for today or my next to last. I now have definitely got that headache although it is not nearly as bad as it could have been since I took the advil. Thank you guys for giving me the time and space. I am hoping to be able to continue this tomorrow.
