We did an emergency repair of the bath/shower, because every time we took a shower, water was running through a tiny gap between the tiles and the bathtub into our garage, which is underneath the bathroom.

Then I cleared out my dd3's craft basket. All odd scraps of paper/glue balls/dust/etc into the bin. That feels great, and I'm happy that it will be easier for her to do 'crafting'.

Sounds like something I need to do, Sibrie But, alas, I decided to get all the livingroom throw blankets into the washer/dryer and our livingroom smells nicer now!

Today I finally sorted out all the bias tape, seam binding, blanket binding, rick rack, and similar sewing notions. I've been meaning to get that done for several years now. About time!

Today we sorted out a bunch of tools from a corner of our garage. We trashed a bunch of stuff, swept, organized, and re-arranged. Then we emptied 38 jugs of cat litter into pails that held about three jugs each, so we could get rid of the jugs that were taking too much space and wouldn't stack worth a darn.

We also moved a bookshelf from my office into the house, set up a cabinet that used to be in the kitchen but will work nicely in the entry of my office, cleaned the entry, and hung new drapes so I could finally get rid of the icky disgusting faded ones that have been in there for fifteen years or more. I never cared a lot because it's a pass-through room that no one really sees but us, but it's still nice to have it looking better.

The shelf arrangement in my fridge has been bugging me for quite a while now, so today I pulled the shelves out, cleaned them, and rearranged them. Much better now!

We did not do anything about the heap of babyclothes in our attic. Instead, we painted the downstairs toilet on Friday night, installed a downstairs toiletbowl on Saturday :-). Then Sunday night we installed the little sink; tonight we'll install the tap. We're both inexperienced, but we are a great team. I read the instructions, we measure three times, do the math twice, discuss everything, dh then does the work.

That's 4 chores for our challenge.

Cleaned and tested the new downstairs bathroom; it's working perfectly! Bought boxes from IKEA and tonight will put the stack of cleaning products, tp, shower gels, body lotion, etc. in the boxes.

Have to hunt in the garage and attic for a small mirror to put over the little basin.

I think I need to join. There's much going on in the way of "habitual" trial of cleaning systems (meaning: it ain't habitual yet!!) and while I'm following the prescribed "regimen" I do notice little odd things not getting done.

Today I re-filled the smaller container of laundry powder I keep on the counter next to the washer (the behemoth package I buy takes us a year to use up, and therefore is rather unwieldy.)

I still have winter boots out in the mudroom (but this is New England, and as soon as the boots go away, back comes the snow till June).
The Garage/Workshop desperately needs more attention than just piling more in there.
Before I bring home a new grill I promise to treat it nicely and take care of it well.
I need to re-attach a button on a favorite blouse.
The Turkey-lifters I got at Christmas two years ago need superglue or to be tossed.
The throw rugs need to be washed and put back in place.

    The list is never-ending . . .

Today I finally put new cuffs on my everyday hooded sweatshirt. The old ones were all stretched out so they needed to be replaced.

I'm in on this one. I am fixing my daughter's hairbow. She chewed off her name and I am attaching rhinestones over it to cover it up. So, we can keep using it.
