~I'm back in this! Flung a lamp, 6 rolls of shelf paper and a soccer ball. Small restart but I'm pleased to be getting back into the challenge. ~

Do it quick before he changes his mind!

Can you break the items down so they fit into trash bags?

~If only my DH would agree to give up all his unused stuff. We too have a Dreamcast with every accessory under the sun, as well as a Nintendo 64, a classic Nintendo system, a Gamecube, and a Playstation as well as the Wii which is the only one is use. The 64 saw some use last year so that's not a complete dud. Of course, they all have a bajillion games, controllers and memory cards. Right now all this stuff fills 4 huge totes in the garage. And those don't even include the massive collection of handheld Gameboys, cartridges and accessories. He did give up his X-Box last year so I guess that's something.
Anyway, I haven't been trashing anything of "ours" this week but I have been tossing some things left in our new home by the last owner: bent curtain rods, linens and rags, boxes, water jugs, ancient throw rugs, etc. I didn't count but I filled a 30 gallon trash bag. The stuff was mostly large so I'll count it as 25 out.~

He also has this ridiculous stereo that is almost bigger than my 9 yr old LOL that has been sitting on a shelf in the basement for 5 years unused. So I said please either hook it up or lets get rid of it. He said ok!! so we will attempt to hook it to the tv

Yea! Big fling day today. We got rid of a century-old tall wooden cabinet, five old saws, and our old gas grill. All listed on Freecycle this morning and all already GONE. Wow, that feels great. I've wanted the cabinet and grill gone for years now, and they took up so much space in the garage. Even that little bit helps a lot!

We've also gotten rid of six big boxes of recycled paper, so I'll claim 25 items per box even though it's much more.

More to come this week, if the weather cooperates. We're hoping to take another load to the dump if it's not raining or snowing.

The load is getting lighter. Slowly but surely!

~I got a few bags filled over the last week. I sorted the girls' clothes and shoes and filled 4 grocery bags full to toss or donate. I'm counting each of those bags as 15 out so 60 total.
DH is off work all this week and we have only our Thanksgiving unit to do for school so I can devote a ton of time to clearing out. Yay!~

My husband is off all week, too. We're hoping to get a lot done on the house but I hurt my back moving a cabinet out of the house, so we'll see. My husband is revved up to fling stuff though, so if all I can do is sit in a chair and direct, that'll work too.

~I was motivated to spend 30 minutes in the garage and sorted one bin. I filled two bags. Wish it was more. Every time I revisit those keepsake totes, though, it is easier and easier to let things go. 30 out.~
