Today we're going to try to get the winch replaced on the camper we want to sell. If we get that done, it'll be a good day's work completed.

Yesterday was a 2.5 day. I got some of the counters cleaned off, but not all of them.

    Today:

    1) Finish up the kitchen counters
    2) Do a load of laundry
    3) Scope out a new place to put in a clothes line outside (current one is now under too many trees)

I feel like a weight is off me now, specifically, a 600-pound roof that now goes up and down just like Nature intended. What a relief!

Off to Craig's List to see if I can post an ad...

We were supposed to work on the deck today but ended up working on the new trailer instead. We installed the sway controller, which needed to be done before the old trailer is sold so we could use it for a pattern to get the right placement for the sway controller. That meant drilling eight holes into steel, so that took a little while but went okay. We've towed the trailer over 2,000 miles already without any problems, but I feel better now that the sway controller is installed. It's like a seat belt, in that we may never need it, but if we do, we would need it badly and it would be too late to get it then.

To make room for the sway bar, we had to move the spare tire from the trailer tongue to the back bumper, which was not without its difficulties. But that's done now too.

In the process, we were able to use some scrap PVC of various sizes to figure out what size storage tubes we can build for the back bumper behind the spare tire and behind the propane tanks on the A frame of the hitch. So next time we're at a big box store we can pick up what we need for those projects. Not sure what we'll be able to store in those yet but I have some ideas. Every inch matters in a small RV.

Then I dug around and found a roll-up table to keep in the camper to use under the awning. We'll keep the table on board all the time. Should come in handy.

We drilled eight holes in four cast iron Dutch oven lids too. The design of the lids on those DOs was such that I had to use pliers to lift the lids, which I hated. So we drilled holes in the tabs that pass for handles. Now I can use a lid lifter, which is much safer. Love that! We also drilled holes so I can attach ID tags to the handles.

It doesn't sound like much but it took most of the day. And once again, it struck me how many tools it takes just to do a simple task.

    1. Finish top drawer in trailer. There, I've said it out loud, now I have to do it.
    2. Bake cinnamon/sugar rye bread.
    3. Cut drawer glides for middle drawer in trailer.

I hate working on those drawers. They don't cooperate at all. My kingdom for a carpenter!

Monday was 3 for 3. I didn't list anything yesterday because I had a meeting at night, but I stayed up late after the meeting and made DS's bed, folded a load of laundry, and ran a load of dishes.

    Today (wed):
*Do a complete load of laundry (work clothes)
*Get through 5 things on my desk
    *Return an item to CVS
