I always want to do this but never seem to keep track. Just today I took a doll seat that my grands were not playing with and about 5 other toys to the thrift store. Also, they donate rag clothing to some place so found out I don't have to be picky about what I send, it all gets used so there went 2 shirts and 2 jeans that were awful! Then 9 other clothing/household items for a total of 20. Small start but it's a start!

Let's see, I have two bags ready to go to Salvation Army tomorrow.
8 shirts, a round box painted like a scarecrow head, a small basket pumpkin

So 10 items added to my previous 20 = 30 items outta da house! Yay!

Oh geezz.. I lost track of this thread. Thanks for bringing it up. I've been meaning to get to my basement - perhaps this weekend.
I started going through each room and pulling stuff to sell - toss - donate. I didn't count those.

    Will start.

I really need to participate in this thread - thanks! Yesterday, I freecycled 12 shipping boxes with packing paper, so I'll start my 2013 count with those. Today, I start on the kitchen.

    Count 12/2013

I flung a bunch of old food. shameful waste. But things are going to change around here.
Big bag of recycleables went out after cleaning my pantry.

    Tossed at least 10 containers.
Still working on things. Had to quite the basement hauling because it was too cold down there.

You all are doing great! I went camping this weekend so I didn't get any flinging done but my daughter did pack up 18 clothing items to go to goodwill.
