Haven't been posting regularly but have been productive - this weekend unpacked a bunch of stuff since I'm not moving, did laundry, cooked a couple of meals.

    Today:
    - dusted living room, dining room, kitchen, rec room
    - tidied kitchen
    - scooped kitty litter

    Tomorrow:
    - dust bedroom
    - clean bathroom floor
    - vacuum bedroom

When I first read this I was envisioning a live chicken - so many chicken owners on here posting about their chickens, lol.

All I ended up doing last night was making dinner for last night and tonight, watching TV, and I did stop by the store on the way home. BUT I did clean the scary toilets and write a menu through the end of February this morning, using stuff that's already in the house (will need to pick up fresh things, but that's it.) The goal is to rotate the stuff in the freezers. So I'm almost caught up from yesterday.

Tonight I WILL mend DD5's stuffie. That's not in my three from today, because I "owe" it from yesterday.

(1)Today I logged into my Discover card and redeemed my cashback bonus against my balance again, so on Friday when we get paid I'll be paying them less than I charged. I *LOVE* that!

(2)In just a moment I'm heading out to the thrift shop to see if they have any large garments or whatever in denim, because I want to re-cover my dining chairs, and I think denim would be a fun, durable choice. (My set is fake-antique-y claw-footed dark wood... so denim just seems appropriately idiosyncratic somehow.) I decided this last week, but then I also immediately decided I wanted to recycle USED denim, not pay a ton for new at the fabric store. If I have to use multiple garments in different shades to get enough, so much the better!

(3)Tonight I'll nag Hubs until he completes the paperwork to get the money ($100ish) that is being held in unclaimed property for him and make sure it gets in the mail.

There, that's three... I also have some other things to do, but those will be "bonus" if I get to them.

This thread is *SO* good for me... seriously, I soooo didn't feel like mending that stuffed animal (again) just now, but I did it, because I didn't want to have to admit on here that I hadn't (which is also why I was scrubbing my toilets at 6am...)

Anyway, caught up from yesterday, 3/3 today-- honestly, I had to put the pen in Hubs' hand and give him the printed paper to sign, take his ID's and copy them for him, address and stamp the envelope... and tomorrow I'll be the one dropping it in the mailbox. But anyway, it's done. And my trip to the thrift shop turned up several things I can use for my project.

... tell ya what, when it's done, I'll be able to say I have a custom-made, one-of-a-kind, DESIGNER dining room... because I'm re-covering the cushions myself (custom,) it's going to be one-of-a-kind simply because it's recycled/patchwork, and I just had a whole lot of fun tearing up jeans and jeanskirts with lables like "Ralph Lauren Polo," "Calvin Klein," and "Southpole." La-dee-dah! ;D

    Tomorrow:
-buy new staple gun from Home Depot because mine turned out to be missing a piece.
-check out SA 1/2 price dayand the other charity thrift near there for more denim (I *THINK* I have enough for the dining room, but better safe than sorry.)
-move tomato sprouts to cell packs
