Lots of tasks being completed here.. very pleasing to see.

    for me..
on 1/2 I hoped to accomplish the following:
Weigh the coat for shipping so I can sell on ebay. DONE it weighs 5# with the box.
Put together a packing list (food and items) for ski vacation, DONE
Start packing clothes for vacation - don't forget your bathing suit. STARTED
    Babysit Lily after work DONE
    Start a home manual DONE

    1/3 thursday.
    1) Look up a library book on positive thinking to match with my 20 wishes
    2) Tell my nail girl that I"m cutting back on expenses and will come once per month for a regular manicure. no more biweekly-dependent-on-nail-girl-for- gel treatment. Stand up for myself.
    3) Bring home manual from work and fill it with home stuff
    4) doctors appointment.

    Wednesday-
--Check MCR for the Wednesday deal (hey, it's frugal-ish...): Check! (Deal was crap today...)
-- drop donations at SA... peruse the action at the store (half-price on Wednesdays) and do my best not to come home with anything unneccessary: Check! Bought nothing, dropped off a paper grocery bad full of stuff plus a wall shelf goodwill wouldn't take
-- set up kitchenette on the bar downstairs: Check!

Bonus Checks: culled expired coupons from coupon holder, took change from change jar and deposited at bank, started new change jar with whopping $.61!

    Thursday:
--rewash handwash laundry that someone-who-shall-remain-nameless dumped in a sink to get stinky... ergh...
--wrap DD5's b-day presents and label so I remember 4 months from now what I bought
--load consignment prospects in car and take to thrift shop tomorrow, consign if possible, donate if not

It's almost mid-day Thursday here, as I write. Lots to do - which I will probably try to overdo, since I am now able to get around without using crutches! One of my bad habits is trying to achieve perfection, so setting LOW, easily-achievable targets might just be a good idea. Here goes:
    - vacuum the floors - in all rooms (yes, I know it sounds like a lot, but my house is small and all on one level)
    - make a pot of soup
    - take down the remaining seasonal decorations.

I think I'd better do the decoration-stuff first, as it will inevitably shed bits of sparkle and tinsel everywhere

    Here goes.

TOTAL change of plans. Was supposed to clean house today but first thought that popped in my head when I woke up was to clean out the filing cabinet. Six hours later everything is sorted, filed, and the "keeper" stuff is safely put away in the document box in the closet. There is, however, quite a bit of shredding to do. Also whipped up a marinade this morning that I'll need for this weekend.

    Friday

    1 - Grocery Shop
    2 - Put things away
    3 - ??? (Maybe do a little shredding)
