Today I paid my bills, cooked dinner even though I was tired, and dealt with a massive meltdown from DD9, who isn't doing so well the past few days. That last one took everything out of me, so that's it for tonight.

    Tomorrow:
Clean the kitchen (such as it is)
    Re-upholster dining chairs
Assess upstairs couch-- JoAnn's has their batting-by-the-yard 1/2 price through tomorrow, plus a coupon for $5/$35, so it would be a good day to figure out how much I'll need and pick it up while it's on sale.
*MIGHT* hit the Smithsonians tomorrow... that was the original plan, but it will depend on how DD9 is in the morning.

    Busy (spendy) weekend:
    - Re-did 2 chairs yesterday and the other 4 today, done!
    - Took the family to the Baltimore aquarium (instead of the Smithsonians)... they are remodeling, so I'm really glad I paid the extra $57 for the membership... we'll get to go back and see the new exhibits, we get into the DC aquarium for free, and if I'd paid the price for just-the-tickets, I would have been really cheesed off about how much was closed-off at the moment.
    - Bought batting for the couch at JoAnn's with 1/2 price sale plus a coupon... bought a new sewing machine, too... my other machine is for mending, it won't hold up to denim, I'm sure.
    - Bought season tickets for our local Six Flags park (about 20 miles from here.) With our 4 tickets, the price came down to $50/ea plus we got a free season parking pass. So if we only go once in the summer and once for Frightfest, the season tickets come out cheaper than if we went twice with discount tickets (1/2 price). The kids and I will probably go more than twice, because of the water park, so it was a worthwhile spend, I think. Plus they took of $10 for using my Discover Card, so that covered the "processing fee" and part of the tax.

    Today:
    - Made muffins. Many, many muffins. As part of my "clean out the freezers" campaign, I made double-chocolate, banana-nut, and pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Then put them back in the freezer. Erg.
    -Made much "football food"
    - Sent most of the leftovers home with Sis, so they are no longer in MY fridge/freezer

    Tomorrow:
    Mess with the couch
    Mess with the couch
    Mess with the couch

    Monday's plans:

    ~get teeth cleaned.
    ~do some editing.
~figure out something to make for supper.
    ~make dog biscuits.
    ~make doggy meatballs.
    ~make different dog biscuits.

Not that she's spoiled or anything.

    Aside from that, we'll see.
