snow never really showed up, only got a couple inches. didn't feel like baking, and the cabinet, well didn't feel like it either.

Spent alot of the evening talking to police, the kids garage got broken into, about 3;oo in the afternoon, broke out the window on the back side and they went thru every box in the garage. Its full of boxes from the storage unit they had. They only took some tennis balls and a grinder.?? Theres alot of broken glass and wood that they peeled off to get in.. So

    Sunday
    help clean up glass.
    restack boxes and repack
    clean up yard outside
Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I was able to get it all done. Having dinner ready made this evening so much nicer.

Pinetree, I see you have canning on your to do list. One of these days I have to get up the nerve to give it a try. For some reason the idea scares me. Probably the unknown.

    To Do List for 3/12/2013

    1. Again, make dinner before leaving for work
    2. Change/Wash sheets
    3. Clean Bathroom #2

My daughters STILL haven't folded the towels. Hubs is home today and supposedly washing all the laundry... so that just means MORE towels for them to fold. Hah!

    Today:

-Cut and assemble the top (just the top, not the whole thing) of the ottoman cover.
-Poke through my fabric stash and see if my idea for the new valance will work
-Start sketching out garden plan of what-goes-where and how to keep the chickens out of it all! (They do so love scratching in the beds along the fences...)

3tomboys: You should try canning if you really want to. I have been canning for years, I had to buy a new canner, long story short, We, (the extension office ) couldn't get the pressure to stay in one spot, we dont know if it is the stove, which is electic, or the canner. So I bought a new one. This one has the guage on it , you can always tell what your pressure is. That way you dont have the guessing game. The new canners are very safe, and you can always ask questions to find out the unknown. Go to utube and watch a couple videos, you will feel alot better about the unknown or if I can help, let me know. I am new to this guage canner, but it won't take long to get her going. I can't wait to can a bunch of chicken I have in the freezer and a mess of beans for quick meals.

I didn't get 'round to thinking about the garden... but I *DID* put together the ENTIRE cover for the ottoman AND not only found the pieces I was thinking of re-working for the valance, but unpicked them and started putting it together!

Oh, and the girls FINALLY folded the towels and put them away. I'm really happy about that and they were very proud of themselves. DD9 is suffering through No-Child-Gets-Ahead state testing right now, and is just EXHAUSTED after each day of testing, so I'm happy she was able to come home and accomplish something she could feel proud of. Thank goodness tomorrow is the last day of that!

I don't know yet what tomorrow's 3 things will be, will have to think about it. There's never a shortage of things that need doing around here, just a shortage of time and energy to do them!
