    Weekend:

Made up an overly-ambitious list and did the best I could...

-Picked up free paint from ACE and finished prepping and painted the kitchen walls (2 coats, pro'ly still have some touch-ups to do...)
-Worked on my new window treatments for living room, got the valance done and hung on a new cafe rod and cut the drapes and hung them on the curtain rod for safekeeping--those aren't done yet.
    - Got DD9 to clean the floor where the deep freezer goes, then moved that back inside and into its place. Added final coat of chalkboard paint and should be ready to play with on Wednesday after school.
    - Pulled old paint from storage, inventoried, and took the rejects to the dump

If I was still 21 and didn't have the kids-in-tow, I would also have liked to clean the carpets, sort the laundry, and plant some seeds inside. (I also had "clean the kids rooms" on the list... but if I had no kids, that wouldn't be on the list, now would it?)

    So today:
    - bank deposit
    - return stuff to HD
    - Drop bag of stuff at Mom's house on the way home

And tonight I'm hoping to work a little on the kids' rooms, as well, but that's not going to be something I'll get done in one night, after work, when I'm already burned out...

    3/3 on the list above,

plus a stop at Hobby Lobby and Joann's (Hobby lobby didn't have what I went for, but that didn't stop me from finding 3 other things I "needed"....) Also a stop at Best Buy to buy DD9 a new game (she earned it) and laid out the new area rug in the living room and ordered the charger for DD5's Leap Pad. (Ordered from Walmart for 6x swagbucks using a 3.5% discounted gift card I bought from plastic jungle through mypoints (1x rewards) on a 1%rewards credit card. Teehee!)

    Tomorrow:
Take tons of cardboard to the curb for recycling (weather permitting in the AM... was too cold and rainy tonight.)
    Work on the curtains
Work on the lamp (weather permitting--involves spray paint)

If the weather does not cooperate, I'm sure I can find plenty else to do...

Well, you've all been busy little beavers, haven't you? I have been doing a lot, but not posting regularly. This weekend got a bunch of stuff done: Picked up my new dishes, ran them through dishwasher, emptied and refilled dishwasher, one load of laundry, picked up a couple of things at baby sale, cleaned kitchen, made laundry detergent, made Irish soda bread.

    Today after work:
    - bank
    - grocery store (quick pick up - not major shopping)
    - made dishwasher detergent
    - unloaded/refilled dishwasher
    -folded laundry
    - went through rags and got rid of the worst ones
    - scooped kitty litter
    - boiled eggs to make tuna salad
    - picked up kitchen and bedroom
    - painted nails

Wow - it's funny how sometimes it doesn't seem like a lot until you write it down. I'm always feeling like I didn't get to this or didn't do that, good to keep a list.

    Tomorrow
    - paint second coat on accent wall
    - fold more laundry
    - Go through paper pile in kitchen
    Goals:
    Eat healthier
    Get more sleep
Buy first real estate investment property

    1. Clean out dogs toys (some of them have been loved to much)
    2. Exercise for 1/2 hour
    3. Sort Coupons

The only thing I got done was the Dogs Toys. I did that before I left for work this morning. I intended on finishing the other 2 when I got home, but middle DD and her fiance came over. Family wins over the To Do list.

    3/20/2013

    1. Exercise 1/2 hour
    2. Sort Coupons
    3. Change and Wash Sheets

Hope everybody has a great Wednesday!

I'm joining this challenge as a motivation to actually get things done instead of good intentions and then remembering them when I lay to sleep at night.
Today after work I will 1) call cable company regarding when 2 year bundle contract is done
    2) make homemade rice a roni mix
    3) sanitize kitchen scrubbers and sponges.

However I *DID* "balance the books" yesterday and get all my banking stuff caught up online and also merged my 3 back-up thumbdrives... Everything is now on the desktop and backed up on the three thumbdrives (I have high security needs...) and all the superfluous files have been deleted.

Today.... today I'm not "feeling it." So let's see how easy I can make this on myself.... I've already checked MCR for the Wednesday deal and am working with LivingSocial customer support to figure out why the voucher I bought yesterday is not working today -- they had my local paper delivered for a year of weekends for $10... that will save me the trouble of going out to buy Sunday papers! I'd like to get the order processed and maybe they can start this weekend!

    - Take DD9 to Dr this afternoon.
    - Look at upcoming sales and start planning next month's menu
    - clip coupons that I've been carrying around with me

There, that's three I think I can handle today...
