So, since it's the weekend and the kids are home, and additionally since it's just me with them (Hubs is on a 24) my #1 thing I have to do today is:
    1-Monitor DD9
2-Keep her as balanced as possible
3- Keep her (and the rest of us by extension) safe.

If we make it through the day without incident, the day is a success...

Now, while doing that, I'd like to:
    - get the kitchen clean
    - straighten the living room
    - get the kids to clean their rooms
    - clean up the TV room
    - do some cooking/baking
    - reorganize the freezers
    - go to the stores (grocery and craft, maybe GW)
    - work on DD6's chairs

AND the doctors would slap me if they read that list. BUT anything on that list that gets done is "bonus." My three things are "keep us safe, keep us safe, keep us safe."

I'm putting these in writing because we REALLY need to get on with selling our two spare RV's and tent camping gear. So today, we need to:

~open the Palomino and check for mouse damage or anything else that might have happened over winter and research current KBB value.
    ~get cover off motor home.
~discuss list of tent gear and set final prices.

Once that's done, I need to write up ads and e mail those so they're in the papers next week. The pop up ad is already written since it was on CL last fall, just have to change the price on that. The ad is mostly written for the tenting gear too, just have to double-check model numbers on some things and make sure the prices I already came up with are what we want to ask for those items.

Done, done, and done. No damage to the pop up. The ad for the pop up is submitted and should appear next week. The moho cover is removed, cut up, and parts of it are salvaged for other uses. The list of tenting gear is discussed and finalized, unless I can remember what else I wanted to list. I'll submit that one tomorrow.

Still have to clean out the moho and vacuum before that can be listed. Maybe tomorrow morning we can start that. Goodwill is going to be getting some darn nice stuff out of there.

Well, we survived another day! So hooray for that.

Additionally, we did get out and run errands, we did get the dishes all washed, the kitchen floor swept, and the counter wiped down-- not quite a full "clean the kitchen" because we didn't mop, but close. And we did clean up the tv room and vacuum, in fact, the kids are camping out in there tonight-- whatever keeps them out of MY bed... and all meals were from and at home today. That is REALLY unusual for us... but DD6 helped "cook" lunch (ramen noodles) and DD9 helped with dinner (Hamburger helper).... not exactly haute cuisine, but they got to participate and I am under strict orders to keep things simple... and , actually, FWIW, Chicken helper sweet and sour chicken turns out to NOT suck! We added canned pineapple and the last of a bag of broccoli, and all in all it was pretty decent, especially as the mix was only $.65 and the meat was bits-n-pieces I pulled from the bones when I was cutting up whole chickens last week.

Of course we did all of that amidst a more-than-liberal amount of TV watching. Unfortunately, we're on sort of basic cable now, so everything we watched was ollllddd.

    So tomorrow:
Help the kids clean their rooms
The baking I didn't get to today
Reorganizing the freezers so I can find all our meals and ingredients for the week
And maybe work on DD6's chairs... not that we have any place for them to go until she cleans her room...

And of course that is a wish list, and completely subject to cancellation if tomorrow goes less smoothly than today.

    Today:
Baked banana bread (finally!) and made a ton of pancakes that are in the freezer now
Reorganized the freezers, so most of what I need for the month is upstairs and the rest is downstairs and in a logical pattern so I know what we have and what is worth stocking up on.
Primed DD6's chairs... they look SOOOoooo ugly!

We lost power for a bit in the middle of the day, so we took that as a sign and went out to the city pool for a little while. And since it was lunchtime, we went to McD's... even at $2, that Big Mac was not worth the price!

    Tomorrow:
1- try to find a working solution with PITA office-mate who thinks he is somehow my boss... or at least not kill him or say what I'm really thinking...
    2- go to the gym
3- work a little on the kids' bedrooms
4- therapy appt for the kid tomorrow--except without her... a super-fun round of "train the parents...." Ugg.

    Strike ALL that...

She's not well this morning, keeping her home.

Already called out from work. Drama king office mate can suck it.

    So, to do:

Settle in, buckle up, survive the ride...

And if things settle down, maybe sort some laundry...

I thought I posted to this thread for today, but I guess not. But I've been getting a few things done:

~washed dishes both in dishwasher and by hand.
~emptied two totes of stuff from the motor home and put those away.
~washed three loads of clothes including two loads of bedding from moho so the bedding can be donated.
~hung one load of bedding out to dry outside.
~sorted out half a trash bag of additional bedding to donate.
~made double ended hook from a coat hanger so large frying pan can be hung up with lid on it.
~made a batch of lasagna which is cooking in the microwave right now.
~did the happy dance because the cat who was sick yesterday seems much better today.
~sorted through van camping tote, eliminated some things, and replaced them with better things either from the moho or stuff that was supposed to replace other things in the tote but just hadn't gotten there yet.
~found the second grill pan I knew was somewhere in the moho, so it can go into the new trailer now with the first one, where it won't take up any extra space but will double the capacity for cooking fire-roasted stir fry there is never enough of.
