On leave, on call in case DD9 loses her crap again today (stayed home Monday, went off her rocker at school yesterday...)

So I have already dropped her (unwillingly) off at school, stomped out a roadside wildfire, gone to the hardware store, come home and run laundry, folded and put away a load of towels, moved the bookshelf to be painted out of its corner and put the finished bookshelf in its place and found the missing remote in the process.

And all of that was stalling. Because what I *NEED* (and don't want) to do is:
    procure a drill
install door chains on all the exit doors (she's taken to bolting out the doors again. FAST little bugger!!!)
go through her room and check for contraband/"sterilize" it (ie- take out the pets and the more exciting toys, make it less stimulating.)

There, now I've written it here, now I *HAVE* to do it. Really, I'm getting up. Right...... now, wait, no, right...... NOW... nope...

No list today, but here's what I've done:

Weeded and trimmed around the front of the house. Cut dead limbs out of tree and bundled on curb for trash pick up. Took out all garbage.
    Fertilized all the flower pots
    Cleaned out the greenhouse
    Weeded around the shed
Cleaned off all the junk that had collected on the patio
Loaded the rest of the yard debris into the truck

I'm done for the day...headed for the shower.

well, 2/3 of the list I wrote today...

I got the drill and installed the door chains. Man was she PISSED!

Didn't get 'round to her room... but I DID take some stuff to the dump, put my phone is for "service" (replacement) AGAIN, and buy a generator because I'm sooooo sick of being too hot in the dark every summer... I was HOPING to be able to run the well off of it, but the well is hard-wired, so we will have to get an electrician some other time to put the well on a plug (so that we can then UNplug it and plug it into the generator.) In the meantime, with a storm due to barrel through tonight and tomorrow, I'll just have to be old-fashioned and fill the bathtubs if we want to flush the toilets... At least if the power blows out we'll be able to put in the old window-unit AC and run that, the fridge/freezer, and a couple of lights... candles aren't exactly advisable in light of her recent firebug incident...

    Tomorrow:
TOTALLY by ear, depending on the weather. School could be in, or cancelled, which will make a difference... power could be blown out by morning if the winds are high...

    HOPE to:
    Get DD9's room gone-through
Get stuff up into the attic
    Work on DD6's room
Maybe work on painting the second bookshelf, if the humidity is not too high

Okay....I thought there was a way to go back and edit/cross out things as they are done. but, I don't know how to do that.

I finally got the front weeding done. I did not expect it to take me all day

    Today I:

stayed up through the night with DD9 who was unable to sleep because Daddy gave her the wrong meds last night...
stayed with her during the day as she rode out that roller coaster
paid the credit card balance (every payday)

And basically just survived another rotation of the earth. I'll do the dishes tonight, too. Unless I don't...

    Tomorrow:
    -go to the gym
    -clean out the car
-wash lots of laundry and MAYBE even put some away!! ;D

Hmm... today... 2.5 out of three.

I did clean out the car
I did wash 2 loads of laundry (ok, so that's not "lots," but it's something)
And I did *GO* to the gym... then realized I'd forgotten stuff I needed and left... Argh.

But, I did wash all the dishes (that I should have done last night)
and organize my coupons (like I've been putting off forever)
and fold some towels (that are just sitting on the bed, not getting put away...)
oh, and DD6 and I cleaned the kitchen floor. I swept, she mopped, I mopped again when she wasn't looking.

    Tomorrow:
Go to the gym and actually EXERCISE
Sort and hang at least enough clothes for the rest of the week
Work on painting the second bookshelf
