So today, precisely today, I only did ONE of those things-- I went to the gym and worked extra-long (not exactly extra-hard) to make up for yesterday.

But after I posted last night, I actually went down and did a heck-of-a-lot on the bookshelf, so that's sort-of-counts for today...

Nope, zero laundry folded, and the only outfits set out are for tomorrow (better than nothing...)

But I did flip through 3 magazines while at the gym, tore out the coupons I wanted, then tore of my address and left them for the other gym-goers... and since my afternoon appt fell through, I had time to get my nails done... so that's my "self-nurturing" thing for my 20 wishes for this week. Stopped in at CVS to hit a couple of sale items and discovered some "spring and summer garden" items for 90% off!!! Hello Christmas Closet!!!

    Tomorrow:
1- Try not to kill co-worker who will be back from 2 day class (which is why I was having a decent week so far...)
    2- clean upstairs bathroom
3- work on the bookshelf a little
4- put away some clothes, really...
5- and go to the gym again, and exercise... less time, more intensity...

    4.5/5 today...

made it through the day without committing murder
worked out decently hard (and entered my coke points while I was on the bike, multitasking!!!)
    painted the bookshelf a bit
got the upstairs bathroom clean (DDs helped), but haven't re-hung the shower curtain yet
and put away a load of towels, but not clothes

    Tommorrow, Thursday:

Dry DD9's blankets and have her put them back on her bed after school, wash more linens
sort, wash, dry DD6's hand-me-downs she got from her friend, get DD6 to draw a thank-you card
go to the gym again (make it stop!!!)
    a little mending
oh, and still can't kill the coworker--but I'd like to point out that I amused myself by putting salt over the doorway when he left for lunch (supposed to keep out evil) and he wound up being gone for almost 3 hours! Coincidence? Tommorrow I'm salting the whole damned office, including his chair!

hung out 2 loads of laundry
dried and all put away,, have a good breeze blowing
    have dinner laid out
    swept kitchen floor
    vaccumed living room
    cleaned and refilled water bowls
    fed birds
    now back to work!

    fri
    pull weeds
    mulch part of garden
    run, empty dishwasher
Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

Nope, Pinetree, actually Summer didn't officially start until today, so you're all good still.

So yesterday DD9 needed to be home, so I was too... she did make up her bed and put her stuffies up. And DD6 did draw a card for her friend, but we forgot it today... the clothes are in the dryer and should be ready to sort when we get home... but I didn't get to the mending, also didn't go to the gym (because we were home.)
I won't lie, the minute the kid crashed (literally, hyper/hyper/hyper/unconscious) so did I... and we both slept for HOURS.

    Today so far:
-went to the gym, mended the clothes while I was on the bike. Bet that looked weird.

    later-
Go to home depot and buy root killer, dump it down the sewer line
buy spackle and start working on the walls before we paint next month
    stop in at grocery
    sort laundry

    2.5/4

    killed the roots
    bought the groceries
bought the spackle but haven't started
and, of course, did NOTHING with the laundry, why do I lie and say I'm going to???

But I did finish the bookshelf I was working on and got it back in place and started sorting the movies back onto it-- lots of loose disks, lots of empty boxes, trying to match 'em up...

Tomorrow, Saturday, it will be just me and the girls... so according to Dr's orders, I'm not supposed to expect to accomplish anything...
    So my three things:
    Keep us calm
    Keep us safe
    Keep us safe and calm...

However there's also a sink full of dishes, more movies to put away, bedrooms to clean, laundry to sort, walls to try patching... and that's all just the INSIDE... anything on that list that actually happens is bonus... and hopefully at least a little of it does get done, so that I can justify a reward-trip to the beach.

So yesterday was a good day, DD9 was well. Got the dishes washed, some laundry washed, some sorted and put away, pulled the original-to-the-house baseboards out and taken to the dump. We took lunch to the beach and they played in the water. Hmmm.. it felt like we got SO much done, goodness knows we were busy all day... but it doesn't sound like much when I type it. The girls also played outside and with the neighbors and watched some (inappropriate but funny) TV.

Today is rainy and sleepy, DD9 is already on edge, and hubs is home, so not likely to be a productive day here... I'll aim for:
Work on the bedrooms with the girls
    Work on sorting the laundry
    work on prepping/painting DD6's chairs

Dinner was supposed to be BBQ chicken, but the weather is not cooperating.... probably switch to Salisbury steak we didn't make the other night.

Hey Zhoen, does that root killer really work? We have trouble here every once in awhile.

Got part of the garden replanted
    weeded
helped DH build teepees for the tomatoes
    load of laundry
test drove a truck for DS

    sunday
    wash the deck off
    water plant containers
    change sheets
    plant some plants DH bought
    read sunday paper
    grocery list
relax, taking the day off, we aren't working today,

The heat here is going to be back in the high 90's, so I know I'm really going to start dragging, it takes all my energy, thank goodness for ac.

Pinetree, I'm not sure yet I just know that we had to have the sewer guy out three times since the earthquake, and this last time he found roots (probably been there all along and he wasn't going far enough down the line, just going as far as the clog...) The rootkill is what he recommended, twice a year, and all I know that is that we haven't had a repeat of the problem since the last clear-out and since we started with the root killer. It's actually only about $13, so less than $12 with my discount... an ounce of prevention...

So yesterday DD9 was not so well, so we cuddled and napped away the whole morning on the couch=bliss! But I did manage to get the dining room cleaned up and vacuumed, no small feat-- lots of kitchen refugee stuff in there...

    Today:
Dropped Hubs at the airport (YAY!!! seriously. I get SO much more done when he's gone)
    Dr appt regarding DD9
Bought 4 nice new matching garbage cans and filled up two of 'em (city switched to once-per-week collection, that's nice, doesn't mean I have less garbage, jerks! So I needed more cans!)
dragged most of the recycling to the curb
    cleared crap off the landing
ran a load of dishes, a few still soaking
ran one load of laundry, will start a second before bed
returned DD6's library books and got her some new ones
Helped DD9 with "baby's first whitehead" (baby's first blackhead was about 3 month ago and nothing since until now. I'm *SO* not ready for this!!!)

See??? Tolja I get more done when he's not around!!!

    Tuesday:
    1- Don't act on savage impulses re: negativity-incarnate co-worker
    2- go to the gym
3- put that stuff in the attic!!!
    4- do the handwash stuff
5- attempt to rein DDs mess out of the hallway and into their disaster-area rooms.
6- try to figure out recipient and reason for the gifts I picked up on 90% clearance last week.

cleaned top of stove, even the drip pans
    swept kitchen floor
    wiped down appliances
    wiped down cabinet doors
    vaccumed
    emptied dishwasher
    load of clothes
cleaned and wiped down kitchen table
    washed covers on chairs

    tues
    work
    wash off deck
load of clothes, looks like rain, fingers crossed, we need it bad
    wash throw rugs in kitchen
    change out sheets
    make ice tea

pull weeds and mulch if time

man you guys are really working your tails off! It's getting really hot here and I am really slowing down.

Hmm... didn't exercise as hard as I should have
Did more than half of the hand-wash, then ran out of drip-dry space (there was a lot)
Did not even attempt to clear the hallway or put anything in the attic. The kids were too much tonight...
But I *DID* go get my fasting bloodwork done
And earned a whopping $1.28 on swagbucks
And I looked at the stuff I bought last week, really only 4 things, and figured out who's getting what for Christmas... don't have it in me to wrap anything tonight...

    Wednesday-
go to the gym and actually work hard
    finish the hand wash
    check the MCR Wednesday deal
    finish the dishes
    wrap the presents
