Yesterday, didn't do any of that but check the Wednesday deal.

    Today- Feeling rather "off."

Updated SHTF folder for my kids (for my family if they need to take the kids in an emergency)
entered some coke points I had in my bag
tried 5 free instant-win entries at MCR- didn't win anything, of course
called in refill for DD9s meds

    Later today...
    Dr appt
    pick up prescription
    Unload dishwasher and reload/handwash
call in MY prescription refill (forgot that bottle at home)

That's really as much as I can commit to today... I'm just not feeling it! Maybe start working on next month's menu and the grocery list...

    Got done everything previously mentioned.

    Saturday:
    Morning:
    Pay bills
Move the chicken coop (trailer) and let the chicks have a "field trip" to explore (a small section) of the outside world. Probably not letting them come back in, noisy things!
Take the kids to the library to get their reading logs stamped
Weather permitting, clear off the deck and set up the picnic table and paddle-pool
    Run laundry

    Afternoon
Take the kids to the skating rink if they behave
choose paint colors for the interior re-paint and go buy supplies-- MAYBE actually start painting today...

    Evening:
Make a meatloaf for the freezer
Make some bread to bake with it since I'm heating up the oven anyway...

    and,
    #1, most important
    Detach butt from couch...

Forecast is 100-106. The only thing planned today is moving the den around and reorganizing the space for dh.

Maybe go to the corner produce stand for some cucumbers and tomatoes

Have completed the first two and am throwing a lad in the washer in a few minutes. Have brilliant- IMHO - idea! For the next two hours before exercising, I am going to clean off as many of the horizontal surfaces in the LR that I can and then finish them tonight - I am über excited about this. Will report results later!

Well, I deliberately made today's list MASSIVE because I didn't want to give myself too much room to be lazy.

So I did everything on my list EXCEPT- didn't do the porch, because I didn't wanna... and I didn't start painting yet, but did pick a color and buy the paint.
Also ran a load of "chicken dishes" (had been in the coop with leftovers for the birdies) which meant soaking (in bleach), hand washing (with a throwaway rag), then running in the dishwasher on "sanitize." Not quick, painless, or necessarily frugal, but neither is salmonella poisoning...
Also emptied our change jar from the first half of the year and had that $123.32 converted into small bills and added to our "hidden in the house" power-outage emergency stash.
And stopped at the neighbor's farmstand on the way back. Pleased to see that they have free-range eggs now that the city had gotten their heads out of their butts and made it legal here

    So tomorrow, absolute Suck-fest!

Early Am before it gets hot:
Clear off the deck, set up picnic table and paddle pool
put crap in the attic (gets crazy-hot up there once the sun's up)

    After that:
    Sort laundry
prep some walls and paint some others
try to get the girls to clean their rooms
    Clean Guinea pig cage
clean the kitchen (it's actually not too horrendous)
If the girls are good, take them to the pool

Figure out something for dinner-- hubs has extended his trip and I'm not grilling steaks for just me and the girls.

Well I *did* put that stuff up in the attic, finally!
And I did wash dishes and sweep the kitchen floor, as well as hung my Talavera animals back up on the kitchen wall-- so not a deep clean, but better than nothing
Did start painting the trim in the hallway, but that's as far as I got
DD6 emptied her toybox out onto her floor- step one of going through everything, and put sheets and blankets back on her bed and is sleeping there for the first time in MONTHS... well, she's laying there, not asleep yet...
Oh, and I fixed my clock that's been out of order for ages and hung it back up.

But the guinea pig cage did not get clean, the rooms did not get cleaned much, the laundry did not get sorted, and I didn't get as much painting done as I wanted... and part of that was because DD9 started to crack a little, so we downshifted and drank tea and relaxed, Dr's orders! And part of it was because while we were still chilling, Sis came by for a surprise visit, wanted me to paint her toenails (!?!) so I did that instead of painting my walls. <sigh>

But I also finished the hand-wash I didn't get to earlier this week and straighted (NOT cleaned, that's tomorrow) my bathroom, picked up and straightened a lot, etc. All in all not bad-- we'll keep chugging...

And with the storms rolling in and out, swimming was not an option, so while they weren't really all that good, I took them to Chuck E Cheese to run off some energy and to solve the "what's for dinner" question. Expensive, but I finally got to finish reading the book I've been trying to get through for ages, so that's something...

    Monday--
    go to the gym (uck)
sand hallway wall patches and skim-coat if needed/ second-coat trim/ maybe even cut in those walls, depending on whether I have to skim-coat, or could do the ceiling (ugg)
    clean downstairs bathroom
15 minutes in each kids' room
write grocery list, maybe go grocery shopping, maybe just pick up what I need for dinner and do the rest another night...
