    - work on organizing all the nice new hair stuff the girls gotYep, and they've already started de-organizing it all...
    - still need to color my hair Yep, but as predicted, not the nails

    Today need to:
Put away all that laundry I washed
    Stop at CVS
Spraypaint the backdrops for the party

    Yesterday did go to CVS,
tried painting the backdrop-- spray paint would not cooperate
Didn't sort laundry, but did a bit this morning, suggest Hubs (who's been off since Sunday) do it... yeah, didn't happen...
Did go get my nails done

Today... Hmm... nah, didn't really accomplish anything and don't plan to...

    Tomorrow--
    maybe put some laundry away
maybe paint the backdrop some more (if the weather cooperates)
    get oil changed

Hmmm... hopefully everyone is away doing their to's... so quiet!

Well, the weather has not been cooperating with the painting of the backdrop (huge piece of cardboard I need to paint white (outside).
But I did get the oil changed yesterday, and this morning I worked on the laundry a lot.

Today: As I was getting ready for work, DD6 announced her tummy felt sick, so I decided to use one of my 9 day of leave that I have to use by December 19th (I worked out when I want my last day at work to be, how much leave I'll use to go from there to my official retirement date, and also which days were holidays between now and then, etc, and came up that I have 9.5 days to use before then... if I don't, I will get paid for them, but it's better to just use them.

So today... I already sorted a bunch of laundry, and have started another load...

-gather up the "sneaky" laundry that's hiding in the cars, etc and wash and put that away
-get everything ready for the party tomorrow (that one alone is WAYYYY more than three things...)
-find out about registering kids at new school
    -give notice at daycare
-order pizzas for the party tomorrow
    -clean kitchen
    -finish sorting laundry
    - maybe pick up my niece (she can help with the party prep.

But first, a little quiet time relaxing while the girls are in the bath (because really, who doesn't feel better after a soak in the tub?)

I haven't been sleeping well, so I've been quite lazy when it comes to my chores. Last night I finally slept like a log and feel so much better today.

Today: I'm mopping the downstairs floors and vacuuming. I'm also going to try to clean as many rooms as possible. It's not too bad downstairs, so it shouldn't take too long. I'm also going to tackle the laundry. People are starting to look for things. Oops.

Need to find something for dinner, perhaps fish.

So let's see... that "little quiet time" was actually a lovely long nap. Nice!

-Did pick up my niece, and she was a big help with prep work
-Did get most things taken care of for tomorrow and whatever doesn't cooperate... screw it! Technically, this is just "babysitting" while the parents go to banquet... but we can do better than that...
-DId call the new school and set up an appointment for next week to do their enrollment paperwork
    - Did pre-order the pizzas

    Didn't:
get the kitchen very clean-- cleaned it and then cooked for the party... end result, messy again...
    get to the hard-to-find laundry
give notice at the daycare (MUST DO TOMORROW!!!)
And didn't sort the last of the laundry... everyone's shocked, right?

    Tomorrow:
MUST give 2 week notice at daycare
    Survive the morning at work
Set up the party, survive the party, clean up after the party...
Take niece home in the middle of the night...

I am very much looking forward to a lazy weekend (probably moping because of work stuff, but still, L-A-Z-Y!)

Well, survived the party, got the niece home, and made it home at 1AM... as for being lazy, I slept all afternoon, staying up til 1AM isn't as easy as it used to be... Today I cleaned the kitchen a little, got free paint from Ace, drove out to CVS to get some more soda, and while I was out, picked up scratch-cover paint for Hubs's car and touched up several HUGE spots where the paint had just come away, plus a few dozen (not exaggerating) chips on the hood. He drives into DC for work, and their roads are just ridiculous.

    Tomorrow:
Unload the toys out of my van and back into the kids' rooms
    Try that carrot cake recipe
Put stuff away (made that deliberately vague so it's easier to check off!)
