Well, the gym didn't happen, as DD6 was complaining of a sick tummy and I wound up taking leave again. As I drove home the girls and I agreed we'd do chores all day, clean their rooms, clean the house, clean the car, and get everything shipshape. Hah! DD9 had an episode and then fell asleep for about 4 hours, and DD6, the "sick" one played and watched TV all day... and I napped most of the afternoon as well (hubs was home to keep an eye on DD6, who's really easy anyway...)

    So:
    gym- no
laundry- not really, but will start another load washing before bed
straightening up- did a little, at least, will do a little more before bed

    But:
Got the dishes all clean and mostly put away-- some are still drying on a towel-- and wiped everything down and swept and mopped... it's really nice having a kitchen that actually looks clean after you clean it! (The old one looked nasty no matter what you did!)
And filed my staples rebates for the stuff we picked up yesterday... I don't remember the last time we actually PAID for printer paper!

    Tuesday:
    Gym
    Start menu planning for September
Get the rest of the laundry washed and put away

Not doing to well here, got the jars put away, and thats about it. Its hot, I'm tired and have no energy.

    tues
    change the sheets
    hang em outside
probably should put new sheets back on the bed,
    maybe take a nap

oheoh's momma, take care of yourself, maybe stretch yourself out aliitle more so you don't try doing it all at once. Sounds good, but I am not one to give advice, I am So far behind right now, I just keep plugging along, Hope you start feeling better soon, sometimes it takes awhile to climb out of those blue funks.

Yesterday I went to the paint store and got them to match an 11 year old paint can so I could do some trim touch up and paint the new door.
So....today, I put two coats on the door. Decided I needed to wash all the woodwork before touching up and scuffs/dings. Got the hallway done, which means 7 doorways! And washed down all the doors. Got that area and most of the kitchen touched up.
The house still appears helter skelter....
    Slow progress.

Made significant progress on the laundry, but not "done." Maybe this weekend... everything else on that list got done...

Today the only thing noteworthy I accomplished was taking my girls to the new school to meet their teachers. Just a nice thing for DD6, but for DD9, an absolute imperative.

    Tomorrow:
    Survive the day
    Don't kill officemate
    Go to the gym
    stop at the grocery
    straighten up the house

On the downside, this week has escaped me, on the upside, that's one more week closer to quitting time!!!
