3/3 today... ok, 4/4, didn't kill the creep. He was really asking for it today, too!

Loonnnggg day, busy busy, drama drama, glad to have it behind me. We have a big inspection next week and everybody's *WAY* on-edge.

So did a load of dishes, put away a load or two of laundry, washed and dried a bit more, ran the Roomba in the kitchen again... stuff gets tracked all over that floor constantly... better the robot doing it than me! Oh, and we had an impromptu meeting with DD6's teacher at the school...

    Tomorrow (Thursday):
    Dr Appt for DD10
    More laundry
    rest of the dishes...

yep, low expectations! that's the key!

So Hubs did the dishes, since I took DD10 to her appointment. The laundry... well, I made a pile of towels to fold, but haven't folded them yet! ;D Heck, with everybody snacking, I didn't even make a real dinner, everyone just ate leftovers out of the fridge...

But I did get the sweet-and-sour meatballs all done for the party Friday, and they are chilling until then. And I went to Michael's and bought a few last things for the party and Mom's Christmas present. She's a crazy dog lady, and just got a new dog that she totally dotes on, so I bought her a dog-biscuit baker (like a waffle iron that makes bone-shaped treats.) So that's one more hard-to-shop-for crossed off the Christmas list (still plenty to go...)

Oh, and I *just now* got round to checking the MCR Wednesday deal... it was nothing I'd want, but so sad that I was so busy that I almost forgot!!!

    Tomorrow:
    - check all the supermarket ads for loss leaders/deals
    - do last bit of grocery shopping for the party (veg tray, drinks)
    - assemble the cake (already baked the layers and froze them)
    - get buffet warmers down from the attic (going to be tricky in the dark...) and clean them up/get all the stuff that goes with the buffet ready

I love my kids and I love making them happy, but I really really love when "big plans" are done and become "happy memories." Looking forward to this very-busy weekend being OVER... in fact, the whole month can hurry up and be over!

We got 2 inches of snow thurs night, so it took us alot longer to load branches and haul them off. I forgot how cold and wet, that stuff was, its been awhile since snow, we had to find coats, gloves and shoes. The sun has melted most of it, so

    Sat
    cut and trim more trees
    pull all plants that froze
    haul them all off

DD10's party is over and done... happy memories made and mess all taken care of. Today was low-pressure and rainy, so we all just bummed around and rested.

    Sunday:
Drop DD6 off with Sis wayyyy early
Take DD10 to Therapeutic Riding (free)
Drop DD10 with the grandparents and go to friend's baby shower
pick 'em all back up again and get ready for the crazy week to come!

I'm hoping it will be a fun little day...
