washing the bedding, soaked the drinking glasses that have collected hard water film and than scrubbed them. Next I wanted to get a survey done and wouldn't you know it the survey chose for me was on dishwasher cleaners and it seemed to focus on the problems I googled this a.m. ?? I also seem to see commercials on t.v. right after I complete a survey about them. Interesting how advertising gets our attention.

    Bedding changed.
Calls made to siblings regarding Thanksgiving as no one had contacted my parents. I work that day but will visit later in the day and bring a dish to pass for supper with left overs.
Day of rest as it should be.

    1st 15 minutes
Cranberry salad partially put together, DH will need to whip the cream tomorrow morning, fold in the cranberry mixture and drop off at my parents. I work and he is going to his side of the family.
    Next 15 minutes
My bedding has been a hodge-podge of sheets, pillow cases, layers of blankets to keep us warm these cold evenings. I pulled bedding out of linen closet and put together a matching bed skirt, sheets, pillow cases and blankets. It now is more presentable when guests visit for the holidays and it was a frugal alternative to buying a new matching set.

I am disappointed that the appointments I had on my to do list could not be scheduled today because the offices are all closed.
Ordered airtime minutes as the phone ran out as I was ordering some, ended up getting better deal online.

I have been getting tasks done by making myself get started, this continues to be my problem after a day of work. Worked 8 hours of overtime this week and have vacation days off the next 2. Hair colored this a.m. Tree up and decorated (respite care client helped me tonight). Dog to the groomer. Menu set for Sundays card party/DH birthday party. Vacuumed. Dishwasher deep cleaned. Nativity set up. That's it for Christmas decorating this year. Physical appointment made.

15 minutes a day is all I am asking of myself for abdominal/core type exercises and housework. I found a cute piggy timer on clearance to help me keep motivated. I also joined many challenges in this forum and have posted a to do list on my refridgerator to remind me of what my goals for each day are. My 15 minutes of core exercises done and Christmas tree down and decorations put away.

15 minute challenge sounds right up my alley. I usually watch some mind numbing TV at night after dinner with kids. During commercials I am going to try to make myself do SOMETHING during that time. I mean I am just sitting there usually writing my list for the next day, procrastinating!

...read read read. I'm usually pretty good at immediate tasks, but I need to read some more intelligent books rather than drifting to the TV. I'm currently reading Summit Fever by Andrew Greig... I've been on page 122 for about a week!

Going to spend this evening in 15 minute segments as I say goodby to 2013 - great way to wrap up the year as it will involve wrapping presents and reminiscing in a good way! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
