    LTM-- you are amazing!

Pinetree-- now I'm going to have to look up "pineapple express..." sounds like a movie title I confess I don't pay much attention to the weather forecast... that's what I have Hubs for... he mentions when something big is predicted. Otherwise I only look at it when I'm planning outings.

    Yesterday...
-went to the stores and got a couple good deals

-dropped stuff at Goodwill and found a pair of sconces that will work to replace my old ones that got broken... been looking for months now, but they are out of fashion, I guess...

-Got most of the "controversial" trash out of the playroom, stuff that the kids would be upset to see go (still needs to go, though...) 3 bags of trash, a box of donations, and goodness-knows how much stuff actually put away (gasp)

-ran dishes, soaked pans, and swept the kitchen floor, but it's still not really "clean" yet. Organized the spices.

-made one loaf of bread that didn't turn out, took it as a sign and gave up

-cleared some more stuff out of the bedroom... hubs still has a huge pile in one corner by his dresser that he keeps saying he'll get to, but otherwise it's getting pretty decent in there.

-rearranged the video game shelves by gaming system and moved all the strategy (cheater) guides to a different place. Nice and neat now... for five minutes or so...

-worked on a Christmas Ornament I'm painting for MIL for next year

-yesterday was report-card day, so we went to the bank to get their bribe money... DD6 used some of hers to buy another 18-inch American-girl-knockoff doll, DD10 had a huge meltdown because she needs to save a bit more for the Disney INfinity she wants...

-all the excitement of the money and the store trip and the disappointment... well, there are reasons we have so much structure and run the house like a prison-state... and I didn't foresee how much it would affect her... so to put it mildly, it was a difficult evening for all of us. DD10 was very unwell, DD6 was jealous that DD10 was taking up all my attention... Hubs was exhausted and not a positive variable in the equation... yeah, it was a sucky time... ;P *BUT* they both got their homework done and DD6 got her reading in... so we pulled it out in the end.

But we didn't do any laundry ;D

    Today:
    - I have already dispatched (much more thoroughly this time) RooPaul the Zombie chicken a second and final time. Ugg...
    - Cleaned the shed they are using for a winter coop and let the other three out to play in the yard
    - Put Mama bunny and Daddy bunny together for a visit.

    Still need to:

    - Try to find a new copy of Harry Potter 1 at Goodwill for DD10 (she lost the copy she was reading for school, and I don't feel like putting a library book at risk.)

-pick up some psedophedrine at the pharmacy

    - take a nap... the weekend is looming, and they'll alllllll be home for 68 hours straight... gotta be mentally ready ;D

    3/3

I cheated, I had 4 down and did the easy ones.

    Fri, TGIF!!!!
take kitty back to the vet
    wash cats beds and blankets
    vacuum, the entire house

Thanks ilc, take it easy moving your son.

the kitty had xrays, blood tests and fluids yesterday, today we got the blood tests back, and she has to spend the entire weekend at the vets, she has a severe kidney infection. they are going to run fluids and antibiotics for 3 days.... I have no idea what this is going to cost, but I know its not going to be cheap.

Z have you looked it up yet?? You sure are doing great decluttering and cleaning

I wish I could figure out a menu plan, every time I go to make one up my brain freezes up, thus, still dont have one.

The weather has finally moved out and its suppose to be in the high 40's for about a week, hopefully the pineapple express will go north and miss us. I am getting too old for these temps.

Have a great weekend, I'm going back to bed, got up with a migraine.

Ok, Pinetree, I looked it up... a weather phenomenon AND a movie title. How's your head, feeling any better?

So yesterday I was 3/3 *IF* you remember that I said I'd *TRY* to find the book. No luck there. Even the library didn't have a copy... so I told her she'll just have to keep looking for her lost copy and if she hasn't found it by Monday, then I'll pick her up one of the two copies I saw at the far-away thrift last week when I'm out that way again on Monday.

Today I finished getting the kitchen clean (even organized the Tupperware!) as well as the upstairs bathroom, and got the girls to help me clean the floors upstairs. Then we went to Toys R Us for a lego event they advertised... but they were all jacked up and just gave the kids each a mini-figure pack instead... but the girls didn't mind and have been lego-ing for hours now with stuff from our "junk box," while I have been working on painting a pair of kid-size folding chairs we bought at a rummage sale almost a year ago...

    Left for today:
    -make dinner
    -read with DD6
-try to get the girls to work on the playroom

    Tomorrow:
    - take the girls to the movies (we like Sunday mornings when they aren't crowded)
    - sort laundry
    - vacuum downstairs

Today is a paper work day in preparation for my doing what needs to be done with the paper work....does this make any spence to anyone else? So I am sorting papers into toss, shred and keep piles.....the key day will be tomorrow when I actually DO something with the papers that are left!

Riding my stationary bike is also high on my list!
