Haven't been around in a couple of days, too busy and a sick rabbit on top of it. He didn't make it, he was 9.5 years old and hadn't been doing well since his bonded mate died last November. It wasn't a surprise but it was still hard. He was one of the few rabbits that I had since he was a baby. I fostered him and then ended up adopting him years ago.

    Today:

clean bathrooms and wash all floor - done
    de-hair house - done
    sew dog bed

    Thursday:
    clean woodstove
    pay bills
    clean closets in spare rooms

RABBIT, I'm so sorry about your bunny. Fur babies are such an important part of our families.

pinetree, my kitties will be fine. They somehow (we have no clue how) had puncture wounds on them and Sophia's had abscessed. So now they're on antibiotics for a few days. The vet tech introduced us to Pill Pockets, little treat things with a slot in them to put the pill, and our cats just gobble them up. So pill time is no longer to be dreaded!

    3/3 for Wednesday

    For Thursday:

    1) Make cookies and cheesecake (cheesecake is done)
    2) Change sheets on our bed
    3) Wash throws and cat blankets and put them outside to dry

Rabbit, I'm so sorry about your bunny. We love them so much but they're only with us for a short time.

Well, yesterday and toady were total failures. Sometimes the Fibro wins. Starting over tomorrow.

    1. Go get blood test(I made another appointment)
    2. Pick up a few things I need from the dollar tree.
    3. plant a few more seeds.

    Thanks everybody.

I have used the pill pockets for my dogs but not for my cats, never knew if that would work well or not. Glad to hear that you had success with them ilovechocolate. Hope your kitties heal quickly. pinetree, hope the blood work on your kitty comes back okay. Just had to have blood work done on dog #1 and dog #2 for a dental appointment and was relieved that they both came back fine. Of course they both are going to need a tooth or two pulled. How did I get two dogs with bad teeth?!

    1/3 today

    Friday:
    color hair
    dust
    clean in basement

Today I did a lot of things that sound fun, in theory, but at the end of the day I find myself worn out and grumpy

    Tomorrow (Friday)
    - Take DD10 to her Dr apt in Baltimore (yuck)
    - Work some more on the vertical gardens I am building
    - yard work and housework (deliberately vague)
In times like these, it helps to recall there have always been times like these.

RABBIT, I am so sorry about your bunny, its So hard to lose part of your family. Good Luck with your puppies,, gosh having 2 with bad teeth, what is the odds of that happening?

ilovechocolate, So glad to hear your kitties will be ok. The vet never told us about those pill pockets, we just put alittle butter on them and they slide right down. I might have to try those pocket things tho. Mine can't take the liquid medicine, she just foams it out of her mouth like she has rabies..

Jen . hope you start feeling better, that your fibro leaves you alone for awhile.

Mauimagic, good to see you popping in.

Z, you are having fun but you are grumpy? Maybe you should have some more fun!!

    Suprise, enjoy your vacation!

Trishagirl, Happy Birthday to your dh

My cats blood tests came out exactly the same...They dont know whats going on. Now they want her on meds for 3 months and retest her to see if shes wrong? excuse me, somehting kinda fishy here? DH called the vet teaching hospital to get a second opinion... ugh, looks like we have to start all over with the tests. This has cost over $1500 now, and I have to start over? SO talking to one of the DRs. to see if we can use some of her old tests. We are at a loss here... she might not even be sick..?

Trying to get my energy back, man is it coming back slow, I am So tired... I went outside yesterday, Yeah, the 1st day of spring. had on my sweats, I was so cold, had to come back in, and it was 65 degrees out there.... snow is suppose to be here again tonight, then tues,, so winter is no where near done yet.

    Fri
sit in the sun before the snow comes, drinking a hot cup of coffee
pull junk out of flower pots
    plant some seedlings
    dinner

    Have a great weekend!!

1/3 today. Finally got the blood test, but then I had to take my daughter to the doctor for the flu, so I got nothing else done. Tomorrow and Sunday will be a wash, DH has stuff to do and needs my help. I can't complain, though, we're repainting the living room...and it was my idea.
