0/4 today. Got up with a fever and felt cruddy all day.

TDN, I don't make cat treats, I make their soft food. The chicken and rice is just that. I had a roll of ground chicken and I boiled it with 2 cups of rice, then puree it in the food processor. I get about 2 quarts of food out of that and the cats love it. I needed it for the kitten because she was de-wormed at the vet and got diarrhea and for Bullet for after his surgery. The other 3 love it, too and I give them a couple tablespoons of it every day. It's healthy for them, too.

Rabbit, I'll try to get pictures to post as soon as I get my camera charged. I keep forgetting to plug it in.

    Tomorrow:

    1. Get those veggies blanched and frozen.
    2. Write out the budget.
    3. Wash throw rugs.

    Have a great day, Everyone!

    Jen

    For Wednesday: 3/3

Working the nightshift is part of my job, so I am used to it. However working an extra hour because there is only one person on the early shift, made it hard to do. And I always sleep extra in the evening, this time it was just extra important I did so .

    Thursday:
    1. Do the dishes.
    2. Do some grocery shopping.
    3. Clean the kitchen area.

Yes, I know, it are the same chores. Again. But when working nights I learned not to expect too much. I can do it normally, but this week I am feeling a little ill. Just going to work and doing this will be enough for today. Plus keeping up at least a bit, means that I won't go into the weekend having a gigantic to do list of things I should have done earlier in the week.

Jen, I know you told us but I forgot, what kind of surgery is Bullet having?

Debbie-cat, volunteering at a marathon sounds like fun! You'll have to let us know how it went.

Well it was 2/3 today for me. I decided to start cutting the lawn when I got home from work so I didn't get the cabinets wiped down. Oh well, I'd rather get a head start on the lawn then worry about the cabinets.

    Friday
    1 - visit w/DMIL
    2 - errands
3 - finish cutting front lawn and cut little yard

    Ta-done:

    1. Washed a load of dishes and handwashed a bunch more.
    2. Sorted and purged a little bit in the sewing room closet. More to do in there but this is a short-term fix.
    3. Found most of the parts I need to put the wire shelf/hanging rod back in the closet to replace the shelves I removed today.

Well 2/3 today. Still feeling a little crummy, so I let the veggies go for one more day. I did get a good start on the budget, but I need to talk to hubby to make sure of a couple figures.

I got a summons for jury duty today. I really hope I don't get picked, it's such a waste of time!

Rabbit, Bullet is having dental surgery for tooth resorption. I have no idea exactly what that is, but the vet says it hurts him, so he gets the surgery. I don't need to know all about it...if he's hurting I want it to stop. I love that cat!

    Tomorrow:

    1. Take Bullet to the vet for surgery.
    2. Worry about the surgery until the vet calls.
    3. Blanch and freeze the veggies...it will keep me busy while I worry.
    4. Check with the farm about my apples...it should be any day, now.

    Have a wonderful day, Everyone!

    Jen

Well, another 0/3 day yesterday even though I got lots of other things done....Lately I've been distracted by the great weather that staying in has been difficult. Today, though, it's supposed to hit 90 (last night we had to turn on AC) so I plan on staying in and actually trying to stick to my list.

    For Friday:

    1) MOP
    2) Clean bathrooms
    3) Reset den

Jen, keep us updated on Bullet. Our cat Toot had all his teeth except the four "fangs" pulled last summer and the vet told us he would be kept on morphine while there so he wouldn't hurt. When we brought him home he did great---ate well, even dry food, and didn't seem traumatized by the surgery. Hope Bullet does great too.

Have a lovely day, everybody, and be good to yourself and to your loved ones.

    Ta-done:

Made goulash for the freezer for Husby's lunches.

    To-do:

    1. Review the closet situation in the sewing room.
    2. Make grocery list.
    3. Meet with potential buyer interested in our motor home. It's going to be so hard making a grocery list with my fingers crossed all day.
    4. Run errands if the meeting doesn't take too long.

I guess my post from yesterday went flying off somewhere, I cant find it, unless its in front of me and I cant see it!

    Todays list
    fri
    make cake
    lasagna'
    garlic bread
    can more cranberries

DS turns 34 tomorrow, he wants Mom's lasagna tonight then georgia bbq tomorrow for his birthday, yea!! I love that bbq!! So cooking one night and take out food the next is a hit with me!

I can't even wrap my head around him being 34, seems like yesterday I brought him home, hoping I would know what to do with him! So scared I was going to do something wrong with a newborn. I am So proud of the man he has grown to be.

Jen please let us know how bullet is doing. Hopefully hes at home all snuggly warm with you fussing over him.

I probably won't be on tomorrow, so have a beautiful weekend!!

Hi frugalfriend, think about you often!
Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.
